Not in a promoted team he won't. Put him in with Travis next season as first choice and relegation is on the cards. Our squad is either very young and not quite good enough yet, and very old but with quality....he needs to sign some men, 28/29, proven, and will add a bit of scrap.

Mowbray: Stay or Go - A Poll
Sparks Rover replied to Stuart's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Defenders Are Coming Chaddy, nay worries lah -
I remember you posting virtually the same message in May last year. And if Mowbray stays you will be doing the same next year.

Dead rubber, nobody anything to play for and no pressure. I remember similar quotes around a game from the end of the last season. Groundhog year. Brereton cannot play under pressure with a crowd and Gally is proven not good enough. Buckley just isn't a championship player, he might be in 5 years....too small and weak

A given for a professional footballer, no?
-
I questioned Gallagher, i said more than once that his performance v Bolton or Wigan (can't remember which) in the relegation season was unforgivable. A shambles and was dead against him coming back

Absolute cast iron rubbish. Give your head a wobble.

Why can't it be our traditional colours? I'm sick of this sickly coloured rubbish. -
Defenders are coming

What manger wouldn't want a job where you get no hassle from the Directors, seemingly plenty of money to spend (just a pity Mowbray pissed it up the wall), and overall control of everything? There would be a queue a mile long to manage this great club. The facilities are still great (for now)....

11 from the site then....I'm a right winger cutting onto my left
-
I know what i saw last season. Incompetence from our goalkeeper on numerous occasions. Brentford can have him, they are playimg well despite him
-
He made mistake after mistake. Not good enough last season, shocking in fact in some games.

Travis will be off Davenport unproven Holtby past it Buckley not big or good enough Evans done nothing really in about 4 seasons Rothwell on his day is unplayable, Tony doesn't know how to get that day out of him every week We need some proper quality if promotion is the aim....as you are if mid table mediocrity is your bag

It actually wasn't a Keane idea. It was a someone like Keane idea.....This club needs a hard, disciplined manager to get it to where it should be. Instead we seem to have Mary Berry with a bunch of soft centred puddings...
-
Look forward to seeing it as there's no sign of it here
-
The telegraph won't and nobody else gives a toss, so it won't get asked.
-
How did he win the championship then? Fluke? Too negative Chaddy, same with new owners, always want to stay safe and boring....that will get you relegated. I'm looking forward to all these European incomings.....
-
You always say this about any new manager. They are bound to have been sacked at some point unless its their first job in management. Keane has a record of promotion from the Championship, he has gravitas, a no nonesense approach which is much needed here. I don't see how you can just dismiss him. I'd definitely give him a go.
-
I bet he'd make Darragh captain straight away Its about standards every day and every Saturday. Keane knows that
