  1. I was a kid at the time, literally the kids were going the fruit and veg shop on Ewood (it's not there now) on the morning of the game and getting their bananas bought.
  2. Been cutting costs on that for the last decade. Worst pitch in the league.
  3. For me, scouting is about finding those players that you see something in that others don't. You get them cheap and they are keen to come because they have been sold the club before anyone else has got involved. A good example is Kante for £400k
  4. Just because they watch doesn't make them any good.
  5. Ye, I say our first team scouting dept is shite. They never come up with anyone good who nobody hadn't already heard of.
  6. PKA - Let Me Hear You Say Yeah
  7. All about the scouting mate....we have shit ones
  8. I think you were right first time.👍
  9. Lad at Bristol Rovers Aaron Collins would do me if we are going Welsh.
  10. Waggot Lodge , probably get more full than the stand
  11. I don't think you'll see BBD giving it too much, a big contract to risk by giving 110% and sustaining an injury.
  12. 40,000 fans every other week helps pay the wages
  13. Thomas, He's contracted until 2026, a loan to have a look. Not convinced personally.
  14. If, and a big if, all 50 buy a season ticket it doesn't even cover half the chaps wages that's without taking away costs. From what I've seen he's not helping out at stuff like Blackburn Pride 😄 virtue signalling and then some. A few dodgy phone videos on matchday...
  15. And who comes to Ewood to go off and miss half the game praying. Its basically virtue signalling
  16. I'd argue we are truly fucked then
  17. So, when our main guys are injured does JDT resort to the hoof ball? These 2 seem to struggle with his playing out from the back theory.
  18. Ye, can just imagine Madam Bollocks sat there pondering our current plight🙄 I hear getting up is worth an extra £135m in turnover. And even if they get relegated first time it's an extra £48m in parachute. Not to mention the extra income from all the uplift in local businesses and feel good for the whole town. But you think they can't be arsed? I think you'll find its Greggy Boy and JDT who don't want the additional pressure so early, they want an easy ride
  19. Yep, we are being sold a pup.
  20. Yep, I just checked . Morris must have been adding 1 year amortisation to the contracts.
  21. I was led to believe they were amortised over a set period no matter what. That's why Mel Morris got done as they were taking them over a further year.....naughty
  22. No it's not like that at all. Every players fee is written down in the accounts over 3 years. Doesn't matter how much you pay for him. Once 3 years is over that player does not sit as an asset on the balance sheet. Bit like buying a machine for a business, it's value is amortised over its life.
  23. I don't see one. His team reflect him in the big games. We will see. Mourinhos Man U didn't play like Mourinhos Chelsea did they? And Klopp is looking a dick now he doesn't have the same players to do his heavy metal football....Not sure you're right here mate. Let's await the coin spent then on all these top players...🤣
  24. It should worry you that he continues to try it then. A good manager adapts to the players he has. You talk like we will be waltzing in and around the promotion/play offs for the coming seasons regardless.....for me, we need to push the button whilst 4th and with BBD at the club. JDT lacks balls and wants a nice easy 3 years here without much pressure.
