  1. Well confidence still high amongst the Rovers camp, and with the news that Brentford forward Maupey is out that changes things slightly. Still got to keep Watkins under control, HUGE player for them. Win this and we should give ourselves a big pat of the back as it will be MASSIVE test for Rovers to see where we are likely to finish this season. I think with their current form, be content on coming away with our unbeaten streak still in tact. Take from that what you will.
  2. What a bizarre day. No Dack, 2-nil down at half time, pull it back to level, now linked with allsorts of odds and ends. I know its not a popular opinion but I am willing to give Rodwell the benefit of the doubt and give him a blue and white shirt. However, we forwards Tony... you know strikers, goal machines!? Anywho, thoughts from Tony and guest of the week Marc Mayo from the Tile Hurst End podcast.
  3. OK, need to keep the momentum moving on this one. Reading have started the season with little luck and I feel they are a better team than their position gives credit too... lets hope we get the rub of the green on Wednesday. Big thanks to Marc Mayo from The Tilehurst End Podcast for talking to me about this match.
  4. Massive victory for Rovers, it was imperative that we got our first victory under our belts early doors. And its even sweeter that we got it on the road. Big thanks to Hull City supporter Kieran Webster for talking to me both before and after the match. Now lets continue this form back at Ewood against Reading.
  5. Cracking result despite playing against lower opposition. Every now and then we need a result like this to give the lads a boost. Now we hope they bring their goalscoring boots to Hull on Saturday. I am optimistic about this one, and feel that we have a good chance to get our first win of the season. Hoping to see a couple of new faces in the squad next week, which will give the team a boost. I sat down with a Hull City supporter and talked about the up coming match this weekend:
  6. Well not the perfect result for Rovers but we should not underestimate Millwall, very organized team who could have been 2-0 up at half time. Trust in Mowbray, I am loving the look of HIS project. Some amazing youngsters on the books these days, away with the deadbeats/quick fixes that were brought in by Coyle, Lambert and Co. Give Mowbray 2 - 3 years and we will be competing with the teams at the top end of the table. Of course we want to be back in the premier league, but I would rather return as a stronger more settled team with a future. Thoughts & more.
  7. Little disappointed not to see an extra additions to the club yesterday, however not a fan of panic buying. As long as the squad can add some talent be it on loan or loan/to buy we should be fine. The capture of Armstrong is massive, young, hungry and determined to prove his previous club wrong just like a previous Geordie with a point to prove. In this video I managed to scramble a chat together with Nick Hart of the Achtung! Millwall podcast to talk about all things Millwall and much more.
  8. Well if you had offered a point before kick off most of us would probably taken that no question, just a hard one to take so late in the game. Words from Team Ipswich, the gaffa and more.
  9. So far she has not got one right and on the flip side not got one wrong. We always have an out, as in no draw option. Win of bust for Cass.
  10. Managed to speak with an Ipswich Town fan about the build up to the match, he has concerns about the team trying to adapt to the new style of play new manager Hurst is trying to implement. I am optimistic we can get something from the match, however I cant remember the last time we won a match on the opening day of the season. 1-1 for me.
