Never back down especially for no good reason. With that being said (besides rare exceptions) this is my last post on the forum because it's been a waste of 20 years outside my five ban periods. Today is the final irrefutable proof with this gutless decision to back down on something that was 100% justified. All you have done is alienated people who wanted to protect what's left of Jack's desecrated legacy. That being said perhaps he would have regretted leaving one to begin with. Especially his family.
-
Because most of them are simpletons. "How dare they use an image of Jack Walker! How disrespectful! Now where's my Total Wicked kit?"
-
I see the coalition have apologised. So what you're cowardly backing down because some idiots don't like it? That's a disgrace and it will completely evaporate what is left of my sympathy. It's a miracle I have any to begin with except where Jack is concerned.
-
Administration is perhaps the best scenario as it forces them out. The worst is deliberate spite and putting in the absolute bare minimum required to meet salaries to punish the fans. They could take the club lower than the National League if they felt like it and being in Pune they are almost immune to threats. There is also the chance they could sell to someone who turns out to just as unpopular on purpose. I'm sure they would show their faces if Charles Windsor visited Ewood though.
-
Are you going to back down on using Jack Walker now because cretins like Jim Wilkinson are upset? Considering how Jack died where was his outrage when they slapped Totally Wicked on shirt? Nowhere because he's a Man United lover. Don't bow down to them. Especially the likes of him.
-
Have you agreed this image use with his family? Some clown on X is asking. Pasha probably putting in a call to Howard as we speak...
-
Indeed and sometimes it could be blunt if annoyed enough. "If I say no it means bloody no" in response to Man United. Or it could just be pure logic as in "you don't score 30 goals" to Sherwood (from a recent article) who felt he also deserved one after Shearer got a new contract.
-
Some idiot on X. "That's not the Jack Walker I want to remember. He was never aggressive like that." Venkys could have turned bloody Gandhi aggressive.
-
Nobody had to grind the sharp knifes they stuck in Jack Walker's back.

There's been countless things people have tried to do "behind an avatar" and on rare occasion in my case public attempts. It's been over 14 years since my last attempt and the club was still in the Premier League then. Of course my list of grievances are so vast that some will be overlooked but the coalition have failed to address the two biggest insults from the current regime where Jack Walker is concerned. Then there's his family who as per usual get away with everything when new owners should be encouraged to ensure they never darken Ewood's corridors with their presence again. Infact they should never be welcome in Blackburn again. If the club hits the worst case scenario will they finally get their deserved share of the blame? Who was it who put Jerome Anderson before the trustees? Who had the most to gain besides the spivs and associated leeches? Think! Investigate! I won't be posting on here again (there might be a rare exception if it involves the Walkers) beyond my 40th birthday in November (resolutions are nonsense but most people in football are out of the game by then which is why I'm choosing that number for myself) so there won't be many more opportunities to make this point. Don't let any decent new owners down.

Neville should be fired. Can't advocate violence (at least on live TV) what a bad impression to set for younger viewers.

I remember Marsh insulting the club and Jack Walker after Souness left when Stelling suggested Robson moving in the opposite direction. Called it an insult. Personally I think it's an insult when you're the recipient of a liver transplant like "Georgie" was and keep drinking yourself to death but Marsh has been rather silent about that. Your friends say a lot about you. -
They used the players at a fans forum didn't they and the fans walked right into their trap? They won't just resort to using the current players either as they can potentially exploit idiots like Dunn to try and condemn any boycotters. Some of the anti-boycotters are the type who would have taken a copy of The Sun to Anfield in 1989 if they supported them. They are just ignorant and there's no cure for that.
-
Why don't you ask them what their breaking point actually is? As far as a boycott which will end once the club is sold. The question is where does it end? Could they sell to someone out of spite? Regarding my comment about potential FA Cup boycotts Sheffield Wednesday chose a big Carabao Cup game against Leeds. As for Leicester how could they be so disrespectful to Vichai by criticising his son! 🙄 🙄🙄The children of benefactors and popular owners are beyond criticism even if they are an absolute lowlife! 🙄

Better lower it to 10 seconds for others if that's not too much for them. Can't risk missing a goal. There were fans in the 90's who must have died very happy as far as their football club was concerned. You should remind them how many fans have died with such idiots in control some of whom would have been actively boycotting or driven away permanently. How many more do they want? Sometimes you have to be that heavy to get through to people. It says more about them if you can't.
-
In reference to the 70's and 80's Ronnie Clayton said it was "just a social club". It seems like that's more the case now as back then people may not have stood for the endless disrespect. There would have been more violence that's for sure even if Ewood wasn't near the top of dangerous grounds. Back then it wouldn't have just been a snowball. No idea where it will be (probably not at Ewood) but one day an owner (or their stooges) are going to push the wrong person too far. There are too many leeches in football and the day of reckoning is coming for at least one of them.
-
If the club progresses to the FA Cup 4th round that could be the opportunity you need. Even if it's against Man United as the players might perform better with less fans there. That's a joke by the way...probably.

Jack Walker is the one he owes most.

Our Christmas Message…From All At BRFCS🎄🎅

There were a few stupid fans around then as well. Back then I usually made naive childish excuses for the team after defeats (not being embittered by that point) but I certainly didn't after that dreadful game. I saw that rubbish Lee Grooby came out with years ago (even calling him "Walker") and haven't forgotten it. How could he have the nerve to criticise me and ban me from official forum after coming out with that rubbish. The club should never have hired him. -
How long until the end of Venkys?

Birmingham and Swansea are examples where celebrity names were on board. Tom Brady of the NFL in Birmingham's case and in Swansea's case bringing in Luka Modric, Calvin Broadus and most recently Martha Stewart. Then there's people who are fans like Sheeran at Ipswich. Maybe Dr Who would contribute if a consortium wanted any widely known supporters to get on board with a bid. Of course one problem with consortiums or overrated fan ownership (and I certainly can't see that happening in Blackburn) is the potential of civil war. Of course minority ownership hardly means significant control. -
How long until the end of Venkys?

I did point out in DM's recently that Balaji could be the main problem. Madame and third wheel might have an active desire to sell with him being the one preventing it. Back when there was a link to Qatari ownership in 2011 it was rumoured Balaji was the only thing blocking it. Of course at the time I attempted to instigate a mass protest and got no help in return. Also it's been said that Balaji might want his son to take over. Apparently some people have spoken to him and said he came across as arrogant. So I guess you can rule out that "Walker family in reverse" scenario. Not that any potential saviour so to speak would necessarily be on Jack's level. They wouldn't have to be as it's not that hard to improve such low standards. -

You don't even need creative methods though they don't hurt. The problem there is expecting the Blackburn public to have imagination. You just need to be relentless in your mission. Back in 2005 when I starting using this forum in my justified campaign against the Walkers it was still mainly pre-social media as it is now. Sure there was Facebook and Myspace but it was more about social connection than it is now. Then more and more people saw the opportunity to get their point across. It's gotten to the point where you can't even comment on an actor or sports star without people bringing up the slightest moral lapse in their past. Or calling them bigots if they complain about something perfectly reasonable like being stuck next to a fat person on a long flight. I don't want to get too big on conspiracy theories (usually stick to football with them) but some of those tech billionaires at Silicon Valley probably knew exactly what they were doing. As I said recently maybe the next big trend is celebrity ownership. I was right to recognise more would follow Abramovich though I never expected a ban on ambition. Infact tomorrow would be the perfect time to highlight that there is a much more historical successful club (with a more marketable name and a better kit when it isn't tainted by a garbage sponsor) that could easily outdo what Reynolds and McElhenny have done without needing 3 promotions. Someone who makes them look like d-listers and could help Venkys save face. It could be one or two individuals or a consortium intent on using their name presence to transform a club overnight. Jack Walker was probably the first person to do that instantly albeit at a club where many fans could still remember being title challengers (in the 60's) and being more historically successful than Liverpool. Will you use tomorrow's game to highlight that at the stadium or in social media? I know by now to expect absolutely nothing. Prove me wrong for once. -
