Would complement Smallwood well I reckon
-
If everything else stayed the same, but we had played David Raya, we would have stayed up.

Sorry if I've got the wrong end of the stick here @Bigdoggsteel but I can assure you that the non-playing staff wage bill at Derby will be more than £500,000 alone. That's around just 30 staff on minimum wage.

Standard "my Barnsley mate" comment... Thinks Fletcher is top class and wanted him back last year.
-
Imagine being a 19 year old from Bolton and playing with Lampard, Villa and Pirlo.
-
Haha probably for the best if we leave it until November...
-
Think it's an interesting football related topic, but I can't remember what I said now you big deleter! Cheers K, jeez. ? For anyone that missed it - it was an absolutely fantastic comment. Anyway, I reckon we should bid for that Ratko Mladic guy from Red Star Belgrade.

It's cos he acts the clown. People love that for some reason... BoJo for example.

Ugh. I find Holloway the definition of a gobshite. Hopefully he'll win me round.
-
Would love someone to dig out that clip of Lowe (vs Brentford on the day we went down, I think) completely dispossessing himself and toe ending the ball out of play. Would make me feel much better about Evans.

Irrefutable evidence that 2+2 DOES equal 5... I’m not saying that you won’t be proved right, but at this moment in time our transfer window is akin to Schrödinger’s cat. Why start hypothesising about “blame” and Mowbray’s mistakes now? There is literally no proof or conclusions yet! Only time will tell. I know that you’ll join me in hoping you are wrong, but either way we’re going to need to hire an industrial sized knicker untwisting machine here lads. I don’t know why you do it to yourselves I really don’t.

Well. That’s enough internet for me for the weekend. One of the most myopic and utterly ridiculous things I have read on here. Quite the achievement.
-
Bit weird. If one of their players had broke Whartons leg what would have happened then??
-
Gladwin injured? Or on his way?

Dunn is/was criminally underrated by many. Not really a debate for me yet until Dack can show it at a higher level. I do think Dack can get up there and it will be a good conversation, but now the dust has settled and perspective has been gained I think we can all say that Dunn had a great career and was a very special player - we can’t quite judge Dack in those terms yet. Dacky has a better haircut though.

Everton aren’t championship level either. Far, far from it. The first half against Liverpool gave me a little reason for optimism. But it’s pre-season, all means nowt to be honest.
-
I’ll take that. I am getting a bit giddy. A 24 year old David Dunn in today’s market though would return an eye watering sum. If he can reach anywhere near that level then I stand by the value for money comment.
-
Good effort Stuart. Would like to add that I am 100% convinced that Bradley Dack will absolutely look at home at this level and will impress many onlookers. He will go down as one of the best value for money signings in our history and will be the difference in some of the tougher games that we will now need to get used to. I think we will comfortably consolidate without ever seriously troubling either end of the table.

Immediate flak ? The bit in bold is exactly why I'm glad we did it and why we had to. We needed to ensure that we aren't bringing in any new recruits that will upset the apple cart by being on more than our star player. He's worth being one of the top earners if not the top. This could now be the catalyst for getting some 'bigger' players over the line.
-
He had Shrewsbury incredibly fit and organised last year, but I'd be surprised if you get a more exciting brand of football than with McCarthy. Says what he thinks as well - remember him having a go at the supporters for not turning out a couple of times. A real unknown quantity tbh but best of luck in every game but ours.
-
Bollocks. I'd got excited. He led us up the garden path then, unless we did bid at some point.

Looked good on potato camera stream

Top end Championship standard? Are you serious?
