  1. Telavovic is going to be a revelation today. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Yes because Rotherhams bench is frightening! 🙄
  2. The ship is definitely sinking (yet again....) Something is really not right behind the scenes (yet again again! not that its ever been right for more than a week under the Vs)
  3. How come once again under this lot we can find 6 figure sums for positions that aren't a priority yet for strikers we only spend pocket change or sign free transfers Just to answer my own question!! It's because league success isn't the priority for this lot and never has been, levelling up young easily affordable players and selling them for profit(that our transfer kitty never sees) is the priority. You'd almost think that we were still really being run by/for player agents as they are the only ones that genuinely profit from this club. We've become nothing more than a 'feeder club' with next to zero(or at least completely unrealistic) league ambitions
  4. Maguire looks like another Telavovic, bags of untapped potential on paper but hasn't really been tested at a high level. Gambles on players like these are always completely hit and miss, been a while since we've unearthed a gem of a striker though! One that pretty much hit the ground running
  5. Softest rovers player? (cant use current squad because that's too easy, still be most of them)
  6. On the subject of doing jobs for footballers, I once helped fit a Carpet in Colin Hendrys house in St annes back in the early 2000s He was a gent tbh! Made time to have a chat with everyone and even brought the brews in himself. His late wife was there and his young kids where shooting about, it was a nice warm family home
  7. Maybe "hard man" isn't really the right term for these types of players, maybe 'right bastard' is more appropriate, but still every successful team should have at least a couple of right bastards in it, if only to ruffle a few feathers, cause a bit of chaos and get the oppos back up when needed
  8. Ahhh right that's good of them 👍 I still cant decide whether to give the one I've ordered as an xmas present or be greedy and keep it for myself 🙈🙈😅
  9. Ahhh what a muddle, sounds like you've gone out of your way to rectify things the best you can though, so thank you for that 👍 You'd think the manufacturer would offer to refund you for any excess shirts or at least give them to you at a discounted price! And also give you a discount on the shirts that they still owe. But hey ho! The quality looks very nice in the photo though, thanks again for doing this
  10. Seriously though we win 1-3 away from home at a silly sunday midday kick off and certain peoples first thoughts are to name call our keeper! Sad times.
  11. Something that a lot of keepers have been trained to do in the last 20 years though. And it drives me feck8n crazy everytime, Robinson being the biggest culprit
  12. I Wouldn't be suprised to see the guy go out on loan very soon That said..... Id obviously love it if he came good and at least became an adequate squad player
  13. Come on, Duffy gis a goal duffy duffy gid a goal.... Would becthe cherry on the cake if that goon put an own goal in **EDIT** AHHHH BUMMER JUST SEEN HE'S BEEN SUBBED.
  14. Jrc is one of our most dangerous players when in his current midfield role, dropping him back to rb wouldn't be good at all. Ideally S Wharton will step up and find his form
  15. One things for sure... I hate to dig our own players out especially as he seems a nice lad.... Bit no way should travis be walking back into this team now! And if we could get close to a mill for him and that money was spent on players we should bite there hand off (not that i actually believe much of the money would go into the transfer kitty)
  16. 3 battling wins and mowbrays death spiral has begun early this season. Happy days
  17. Remember when liverpool sacked that yanky bloke Brad something or other off after he let a few soft goals in at the start of his short time there. Wonder what he went on to do 🤔 and that Fella Robinson! Flippin eck he made a series of shocking clangers in his career for club and country, but still a bloody good keeper though
  18. A lot of teams in European leagues where playing this (boring way) decades ago as standard, it's nothing new at all. 'pep' is just a total egotist that thinks he's reinvented the wheel, Much like Mourhino back in his Chelsea peak days when he had them playing in a very particular way that many clubs tried to copy until the strategy got sussed out by oppo mamagers (as all tactics do in the end)
  19. Buckley hardly seems to be contributing much at wednsday
