  1. He offers something different and unpredictable though, we need a player or 2 like that in the squad as we are way to predictable and never have any players on the bench that can come on and offer something different He was one of a few players that season that where dicked about, Mowbray was crap at dealing with him for years
  2. I'd welcome Rothwell back for next season, either on loan or a permanent(although I imagine his wages would scupper a permanent)
  3. Just a thought.... The Raos/venkys have now owned Blackburn rovers longer than The Great Jack Walker did(before he passed away) and longer than the time it was being run by the trust! 😭😭😭😭😭😭 A 14 year nightmare that there's no sign of us waking up from.
  4. Same old, same old.... Doesn't matter if he goes for 5mill or 50mill our first team will not be strengthened by him leaving. Simply just think were we'd be now if it wasn't for Szmodics this season, it wasn't just his goals it was his determination and work rate that was head and shoulders above anybody else in our team. That is priceless
  5. I get where you're coming from but to be fair Parks record at rovers appeared to be good. Although he did seem to jump ship pretty quick after Mowbray left! Whether that was because he didn't want to be here or because he'd already got word he'd not be needed once a dof comes in
  6. The hacks next story will now be that he's heard Venus may be joining blackburn. Wonder if he'll name chaddy as his source though 🤔
  7. Just curious and wondering if the young man city player Matthew Warhurst that's scored a hatrick against our under 18s is any relation to the brilliant former rover Paul Warhurst? Can't see any mention that he is related online, although i did spot that Paul Warhurst also started his career as a youth at man city also
  8. Tbf those season tkt prices look reasonable to me! If I wasn't broke and didn't work every other weekend 😅 The kids and under18s you especially can't argue with That said waggot & Suhail are still a cretins and it changes nothing.
  9. Just pathetic isn't. Makes me sick to even think how many millions that all wasted "project" costed. I'm guessing the consultancy company alone cost at least hundreds of thousands just for their advice Here's hoping that hiring the agency and attempting the dof route was the venkys last role of the dice to make something of the mess they have created and now they're looking to just cash in on every player asset we have before finally pishing off. (we can only dream🤞)
  10. I agree! But i still just don't understand why he went that route to begin with by hiring Broughton and switching to a dof model in the first place!? Was it not waggots decision to go the route. Was the decision made for him? Who made the decision to hire gb as dof?
  11. Football quality wise it's still pretty crap though isn't it🤷‍♂️
  12. Scottish football on the whole is bloody terrible though! Genuinely on a par with the bits and bobs of womens football that I've witnessed Even there national team is a joke considering the decent pool of players they often have, yet whichever useless national manager they have at the time usually picks the most awful squads and seems to discriminate against players that they don't consider 'scotish enough'😅
  13. Sadly i think he's going to lose fans if/when it becomes more apparent that he's 'team waggot' andcshares the same lack of ambition has him and his cronies.
  14. I think he's still got a year left at fulham but if he's not gurenteed as much football there now how about cairney to add some much needed experience and creativity(and class!) to the team
  15. Even if we got a Percy winger this would happen.... I'll get my coat.
  16. Just through it on the pile with all the other things he and his malignant pal Sunhail should have been sacked for. Not since fkin Kean has anybody been so untouchable and self serving. I'm sure there's folks on here that will still continue to shake his hand and have a natter with him over afternoon tea though (no matter how well meaning their intetions may be)
  17. Personally not a fan of the dof role. Just give me a real manager that isn't afraid to take on the extra pressure, responsibility and time of first team transfers and being in charge of scouting!! It's too easy now for 'first team coaches' to just pass the buck when a transfer flops or doesn't live up to expectations.
  18. Rovers need to get one or two good (incoming!) transfer deals agreed asap otherwise it's going to be yet another summer of fan unrest a further declining st sales. Just get at least Maguire and a Ross Sykes deals in the bag and that would hopefully keep things a bit smoothed over until the euros!
  19. I don't think it's his actual work rate that was the issue! Its more that he just couldn't get fit enough for long enough to be able to work as hard as Some of the others. As well as him having to keep filling in in different forward positions in different formations in a struggling team!
  20. Just need to get him fit with a good pre season and figure out which position he's going to be most effective in!!
  21. Sorry but after years and years of your 'information' being proven to be complete bs and gueswork I find it astonishing that you still think anybody takes any tidbits that you invent seriously and when(if ever) your info does come even remotely true its purely just by chance. Everyone knows you're a betting person and you know full well that if you spew enough bs then by law of averages you're going to get the odd thing right occasionally.
  22. Didn’t we seriously look into signing him a few years ago?? (possibly before going for Hyam instead, i can't remember) Edit!! Sorry wasn't even that long ago, just last summer... https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/blackburn-plotting-transfer-swoop-for-600000-rated-defender/ Maybe he was a player we where looking to buy before our transfer kitty was abrubtly slammed shut.
  23. And hopefully his links to Brighton we may meen we carry on getting some of their better youngsters in on loan!
  24. Seems an excellent pedigree! BUT venkys era rovers being the way it is you have to ask why he'd drop down to a struggling club with little real ambition. Surely it couldn't just be for more money(Id imagine he was being paid very well already at brighton) and/or for sentimental reasons like being closer to home Maybe he has ambitions to step up to more of chairman role in the future (paving the way for waggot to finally leave)
