  1. One minute added. HT no gripes, I take back my earlier crabby sentiment about poor passing.
  2. “A moment of high quality from Ben Brereton-Diaz…” beautiful shot
  3. Too much piddling around the back. Then, punt to nobody. Unsettling
  4. If I had to say there’s been a difference in TM’s and jdt’s Rovers, under jdt we haven’t conceded in added time. That was a big issue under Tony, as we regularly gave the opposition a gift in 90+3 or after. Rovers currently 5th on the table, and Sunderland 9th. Tony appears to have given some mid table stability to Sund, while jdt appears to have Rovers poised to make a serious playoff run (at last!) Rovers have 5 wins and two loses at home. Rovers have three clean sheets, and have scored 12 goals, while conceding six. On the negative side, our two losses at Ewood have been to Stoke & BristolC, no explanation for those. This game may be closer than we want to think, but Rovers need to win home games vs clubs lower on the table, if we are to be a serious playoff contending team. Travis’ loss not devastating, if a young player steps up, it should be negligible. I will say 2-1, good guys.
  5. Whew. I didn’t figure there’s any way we would get all three points today. Great job guys
  6. Travis’ performances have been really off lately, but with him off the pitch that really leaves us short in midfield.
  7. It’s about to be 2-2, isn’t it? And, Travis with his 5th YC, gonna sit a couple games
  8. I didn’t get the game today. How many Rovers fans there?
  9. It’s gonna be tough to keep all three today. Who are our subs, Dolan, Hedges & Dack?
  10. I’m excited about todays lineup, and looking for a positive result!
  11. Identifying talent is often difficult, but a much tougher task is predicting how they will perform. All of us have followed sports for years, to see our team sign Tarzan, alas, who plays like Jane. Nobody on here is 100% right about everything. If we are, we’re in the wrong line of work, for sure.
  12. My intent was to get some energy on the pitch. I like Hedges, but Markanday scored for U21’s, and I’d love to see him get a runout. Glad Sheron’s side won in PL Cup over Wolfsburg!
  13. Too much piddling around in the back. Have to do more than punt it to nobody in particular. Dolan races around the pitch, trying to be high energy, but lacks intent. Still, he shows more life than several of our zombies. Start A. Wharton, Britain, & give Markanday a runout. Dolan. This team needs to do more than shuffle around the back.
  14. This is our 11 vs M’bro? 😂(Other than Pears, please say yes) Seriously, our U21’s have rescued their season. Our first team is still only 3 points off the top, playing #21, even on the road, surely, we need to expect a win Saturday.
  15. I agree, this might be a game for younger, hungry players. Give ‘em a chance. Same ol’ same ol’ isn’t working. Adam Wharton & Markanday (why not?) Meanwhile, Britain earns the start. Hirst needs to take a seat. We’ve got to expect a road win, to go with Swans & Blackpool roadies, this is vs #21 on the table, 1-2, good guys.
