I don’t like this timeout, H’fld appeared gassed, and on their back foot. We were playing with energy & purpose, I don’t want to lose that -

Nice buildup there, Szmodics needed to finish -

Not complaining at all, but it speaks to our striker deficiencies when JR-C is our biggest threat, he had a good chance to bag one in the 1st half, too. -

He’s still around, I honestly didn’t realize it. What does he do (besides draw a healthy check?) -

Really aggressive so far. Hasn’t translated into a goal yet. -

We’ve worried them, at least… 2 shots on goal -
We’re still in a playoff place, I understand Tomasson’s position. He has to play the best players available. So right now it’s simply a process of elimination to get the best 11 on the pitch. But if we lose to Huddersfield and get surpassed on the table by one or more teams, all bets are off, and I would prefer to see our own Academy youngsters over loaners or guys out of contract. I trust Tomasson. We will have to wait & see.

Nice playoff dream, I’m actually surprised it lasted until first week of April. If we could win four of the last seven, that would be very competitive with others in the hunt. But, I fear we’re the team that’s failed to show the last two games, not the one that in consecutive games beat Swans, Blackpool, QPR, & ShefU. If we could only recapture that form!

Right now, I would give us a very slim shot at making playoffs. We couldn’t even defeat a #18 side. I would return Morton to the reds immediately. I don’t think he’s any benefit to us in a playoff chase. I would continue to play Brereton at every opportunity until we’re out of it, he can still be helpful. -

The fact both injured strikers are in the traveling squad, seems that they could be of some benefit, even if not 100%. I bet one or both get involved before this one is over.
