Our academy must be one of the top ones for producing defenders. Hanley and Jones had good periods in the prem. Wharton, Nyambe, Lenihan in our current team. Carter and Magloire both playing very well out on loan. With Phillips now being linked to many clubs in the prem. Long may it continue.

Travis is much better than Lowe but he is also completly useless with the ball at his feet and we dont have any Tugay like player who can make up the difference. When he first came into the team he was great at little runs forward and had a nice touch as well. Appears to have been coached out of him in Mowbrays plan to make him Bradley Johnson Jr

Why on earth would he sign for us ?? He plays well every match but has been dropped for JRC and Zeifuk who are both not at his level. If rumours on Monday are true he was dropped for not signing a contract, a standard that only he is held too. His agent / family / friends should be telling him to go anywhere Mowbray is not

It is my most controversial opinion but I dont rate Travis at all. I think he is poor as a defender, poor on the ball and offers nothing going forwards. He simply gets himself about but at this level that doesn't cut it.
