  1. That’s it though, I doubt he’s going anywhere. He’s got a year trigger on his contract and who’s parting with decent money for him?
  2. He’s physically a man mountain! But I don’t see any footballing intelligence. He’s out of position a lot and fairly average on the ball. As I said before, genuinely believe if he had 5yrs on his contract there’d be a lot wanting him replaced.
  3. Maybe start with RN and then bring Pike on or vice versa. Wouldn't be averse to dropping Nyambe. Unpopular opinion, but I don’t rate him...if he had 5yrs on his contract I believe he’d get much more criticism. His contract situation is an opportunity for people to raise his profile and beat the club with imo. lots of potential that hasn’t yet come to fruition.
  4. There’s a lot of fighting talk and pushing out of the narrative that he’s speaking to and targeting players...he probably is. But the silence is DEAFENING from India. Zero being signed off...until that changes my money is 100% on a new broom for a new season!
  5. Sure!! I’d look at Pike too...
  6. I reckon a comfortable win. Be a cracking game to blood some young lads but I can’t see it.
  7. If Mowbray is chatting to players then it’s a due diligence thing on his part for the event that there’s a U-turn (who knows with V’s). It’s common place for them to have conversations like “Listen, I really like you as a player. If we’re here next season then....” BUT I can safely say no one expects the same management team to be in place next season. It’s also expected to be resolved very soon.
  8. I haven’t spoken to them directly. They wouldn’t break ranks on him even if I asked.
  9. This is the thread I’m focussing on now...
  10. He knows it, the academy knows it, the coaches know it....everyone knows it now. The interview just backed it up mate. I think Ainsworth would be a really smart move too. One that’s likely beyond their vision 🙈
  11. Him and MV going is about as solid as it gets other than them admitting themselves. The video critique is my opinion based on what I can see.
  12. Listened to his interview today. He spoke in the third person all the way through and I never heard him use words like “my job is to...” etc...he spoke about everything ‘the club’ needs to do because they’ve spent the last few weeks and days handing over and dealing with pressing issues. When has he EVER known the budget at this stage? It’s happening...
  13. Don’t know about Waggot...
  14. He won’t be here next season. Will be formally relieved of his duties once the season is finished. He’s staying to effectively hand over and tie off loose ends. Hence why he knows the budget already. Advising on who needs to be kept on etc. New broom for a new season!
  15. Tbf he hasn’t had to sell anyone. Which is another sad indictment of where we are right now.
  16. On the money Jaqoub.
  17. I find it weird that he talks like only we play in these matches... ”they’re jaded after playing two seasons back to back. That’s why we’re not winning” BUT TONY SO HAS EVERY OTHER FUCKING TEAM BUT MOST OF THEM ARE ABLE TO WIN!! Fuck sake. I need a lie down.
  18. 19th loss of the season, 2 wins in 18 games and 11pts from the last 51 available. Please make this stop.
  19. This ‘style of play’ argument is mental. He basically says that most teams who go up have £109m to spend and the best players to play a possession based style. Whilst, those who do not have the cash or the best players employ a more direct game, getting the ball into big strikers and playing off them...ringing any bells? IF THATS TRUE TONE THEN WHY THE FUCK DIDNT YOU REPLACE DG WITH AN UPGRADE TARGET MAN AND CRACK THE FUCK ON! For what it’s worth, I don’t think he’s got a clue what he’s talking about. He’s trying to be clever and take the piss. It’s a charade for the owners to get himself and his boys another year. He never takes any responsibility and has become the guy whose telling you it’s raining whilst pissing on your back.
  20. That interview is an absolute disgrace.
  21. To admit that we are now in a relegation battle is to admit they’ve failed....that’s why it’s being brushed over!
  22. Haha - as if I’d contact them!! VERY quiet tonight apparently. No one saying anything...
  23. Wall of silence from two of the coaches tonight too....very strange!
  24. Blackburn rovers have not scored an open play goal in their last 420 minutes of football - 🙈
