Cory could probably do the same at the level Whitemans been playing at. We’ll see what an absolute dynamo he is in the Championship. Done nothing yet! Be really interesting to see maybe next season if we could compare the impact of Buckley on our team and Whiteman on Prestons. Goals, assists, key passes etc. It would of course be dependent on them both getting the same amount of minutes but it wouldn’t surprise me if Buckley was streets ahead... FYI - That’s not because I’ve seen loads of Buckley. It’s because I’ve seen enough of Whiteman to realise he’s a middle of the road Champ CM (A Cory Evans) whereas the staff at Rovers are convinced Buckley is ‘the one’ and a Premier League certainty. Im not sure. Firstly, I don’t think we have enough ‘ball players’ and assuming we sell AA in the summer and invested inevitably in 5/6 6ft 2in plus players, adding some steel and leadership to the ranks, I think we’d potentially be better off?

Nah, we won’t lose anyone we don’t need to in the summer. Club will trigger extensions for Rothwell and Nyambe. Pickering in. Foundation is there....squad team needs good quality additions and a different voice.

As many know I’ve been as optimistic as anyone....but I can’t get past the fact that we haven’t played well since November 24th.

November 24th was PNE away and tbf we did play well. We’ve played against several off the boil teams down to 10 men on a few occasions since and been absolutely crap.

I would play Elliott on the right and Dack in the middle. It’s a must win game against an inferior team. We shouldn’t be worrying about having cover for fullbacks in hone matches vs Coventry.
