  1. Battys lad is at hull played allot of games this year and looks a handy lad. Signed a one year extension but I’d keep an eye on him.
  2. I’d do it without a doubt and I miss most mid week games
  3. The yellow 92 top (playoffs)? Special edition one by Ribero Sports was asked for on Twitter by Ribero this week.....
  4. When we played them in the cup Xmas 18 he was man of the match I think since then I’ve heard nothing about him
  5. I like the idea of Ibe we’d be the perfect club for him to rebuild his career. Wide right of Gallagher and Armstrong on the left as a front three would be terrifying at this level
  6. Pompey and Sunderland interested in January be interesting if they crop up again
  7. Just get him out get him out don’t give him a bean this window!
  8. Wharton isn’t the level we should be looking at if we want top six. Hes been in L2 man! I know you always like your say chaddy but come on be realistic the lad needs a L1 move to see if he can hack there.
  9. He took charge of his first game without a contract, seemingly wasn’t bothered beforehand. He was another shyster making money from us and a crap manager to boot who’s gone on to achieve zilch.
  10. He sued the club which means his 2.5 million pay off is part of our overall debt. Guy I liked as a player but in the same catergory as Samba for me
  11. Bailey Wright that ex Bristol and PNE man set to sign for a Chinese club this week. Between him and Balogun I doubt we’d get a better back up centre back at this level especially for free.
  12. Probably his boozing has pickled his brain. He’s banned from a pub in Portsmouth apparently got his John Thomas our and pissed on a table ?
  13. The person who wrote that up and asked the questions deserves a well done. A thoroughly enjoyable read.
  14. It’s one thing what annoys me is the likes of Leicester, Leeds, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace and Southampton all have been in administration at least once all have shafted creditors and now all earn mega millions and have never paid there dues
  15. I’d agree with that Mokoena is a true cult here though ? For those who didn’t like the Leon Balogun suggestion I made the lad released by Wigan. take a read - https://forums.vitalfootball.co.uk/threads/leon-says-goodbye.106684/ As I said I thought we needed two centre backs this summer a capable back up for Lenihans absences and a Tosin replacement. Looks like he’s going to Rangers.
  16. Just on Morgan Fox the Wednesday left back. Once linked with us. Rejected a deal at Wednesday to stay and is wanted by Stoke, Coventry, Derby.
  17. Even friedel who for me is the best keeper the PL saw when he was at Blackburn. He destroyed it in the end handing a transfer request to Ince as Villa dangled a huge signing on fee and wages whilst his business of academies was on the edge. Forget Ronaldo, Tugay is up there with Petit for me of players I’ve seen live who were amazing.
  18. So not a legend then? I know what your saying but he fucked his teammates of and the fans. That is not a making of any legend really imo. Tugay in my era but I remember meeting Bryan Douglas at his stadium naming the room was in awe of him amongst the older generation so that kinda gives you a yardstick on how to measure “legendary” status for me.
  19. A good ambassador for the football club is how I see it
  20. Samba diminished it by refusing to play, prtotesting twice to get moves. Moving outside the window when we couldn’t get anyone else. He’s a dick
  21. Was dependant on staying up and they slashed the wages to a more suitable level which leads me to think he was probably a skint tyre kicker from the very start. Krasner reckons another 4 bidders but if he was the best or preferred one it don’t look too good.
  22. After Ashley Cole, Leighton Baines has been England’s best left back in my era
