Love that finish
The King would’ve tucked away that Evans pea roller in the first half guaranteed
No he wouldn't.

Also it was a figure is speech. They are both not good enough for us to progress!

And tell me when have you seen Evans and Smallwood burst into the box like he does?
Never EVER has happened and never EVER will. Evans a tad above Smallwood however both Shouldn't be anywhere near the starting 11. But hey, people still chant Smallwoods the king of ewood!

Danny Graham my POTY

Same team, Rodwell for Evans though.

This change of play is because of Rothwell starting. He is the catalyst and the difference! If boring Tony sticks with him, we will see a difference in next season FACT!

Armstrong MOM good all round performance, keeper disappointing.
He's a strange one! Plays 5 games and he's unnoticed, then appears out of know where and comes one of the most dangerous wingers in the championship? Stick with the same midfield next year with a replacement for Evans then we can be dangerous!
-
Not managed to catch second half, who's played well?
-
not armstrongs biggest fan, buts he's having a good game so far!

Yes, Travis doing things Evans and Smallwood never does. 0-1 Graham!
Yeah, I said it early, when was the last time you saw Evans or Smallwood make a run like that?
-
Evans with a FIERCE strike!
-
I understand why he has gone for the same starting 11. But he HAS to have some of the youngsters on the bench! The sooner we get rid of Smallwood the better.
-
What a delight to see all those youngsters making the squad! Boring boring Tony!

just seen Nuttall's instagram story. Think it's davenport on the train??
-
Think we will win this one! Like to see some Youngster get some game time. Brereton to bag!
-
When was the last time you saw Smallwood & Evans make a 20yard dart forward with the ball like Reed & Travis? I honestly don't think i've seen it. In order to get the best out of Travis, he needs better quality than the crabs, i.e Reed!
On a good day Evans or Smallwood alongside Travis can work. However if we wan't to take next season seriously we need better!

My main concern is he will stick with his favourites and we kick off the first game next year with Smallwood and Evans in the middle. This would be a clear sign that he hasn't learned anything from this year and would be the final straw for me.
We're four players off giving the play offs a decent crack next year imo and I'm hoping Mowbrays comments in the media about needing to strengthen the current squad only in case of injury are a smoke screen, though I struggle to see how that'll work in the budget meeting with Venkys.
So I've voted for him to go but I've accepted he has the summer to improve the squad, more for my own sanity than any rational thinking because he ain't going anywhere.
Exactly my thoughts!

Now that we are safe, if Reed is still injured (he isn't our player anyway), I wouldn't mind seeing Rodwell and Travis in the middle, to see if that's a goer for next season...
Yeap! Would much prefer Rodwell to one of the crabs in CM!

He's been good all season, he stood out a mile the first time he came on as sub v Millwall at home. We'd be quite a few points better off if it hadn't taken Mowbray until April to make him a regular starter - so I agree with 'finally' in that sense.
Hopefully Mowbray has realised now and he can be a regular starter from now on, like Travis mainly has been after for some reason being ignored until Christmas.
It's those type of decisions from TM why there is so much tension from fans. It's simple, we could see it, why couldn't he? Is he starting to now see it? Maybe? hope so? Doubt it!

What does everyone think Rothwells thoughts are in the current situation? I think if we keep him starting with Dack & travis next season (along with a new defence) we could be a real threat next season.

Raya and Bell are too calamitous to be part of a promotion push. Lenihan and Williams were immense today I thought and Bennett got in sone good blocked shots. Rothwell’s goal was terrific, but he’s had enough minutes on the pitch this season to do things like that, plus faded second half I thought. Dack back to his post-Xmas form. Rodwell for Evans was a terrific change that I thought closed out the game for us.
Overall a good game to watch, plenty of everything, including our defenders yelling at each other, which was good to see.
Okay Tony!
Bolton at home.
