  1. Rovers will loan out several players this season with the intent of improving them rather than selling them, other clubs do the same
  2. Mach reports U21s 3 - 0 Barnsley U21s - Leonard with 2, Boggan with the other, Pears, Duru & Buckley also played U18s 1 - 0 Crewe U18s - Higgins started & scored, Wilkinson (the guy from Accrington) played
  3. 2 options 1 - If they didn't want to sell him, just want to get him some playing time, improve him for their own squad next season or 2 - They think that given a year in the Championship, the fee they could demand for him next summer is far in excess of what they could ask for now/be agreed in any loan to buy agreement
  4. I would be more interested to know if Rovers actually offered him a contract before his surgery? If they had done so, then maybe he would have signed it and wouldn't now be at a rival club
  5. I posted something along those lines a couple of summers back. Obviously those are now essentially 3 years out of date as they were for the accounting period 21/22. What I will state is that we have seen a further real terms (inflation etc) reduction in the costs of the playing staff compared to our Championship Rivals since this period I had to go into the individual accounts for each club individually to find the figures as they did not seem to be collated anywhere that I could find Edit - maybe this twitter account has collated this information at some point, might be worth an ask
  6. If we are to believe reports, there was a Hungarian midfielder who chose Portsmouth over Rovers last week
  7. Not sure what age groups these are, pictures look like either U16s, U15s, U14s maybe. Rovers have 2 teams participating at 2 age groups (junior & minor - whatever they equate to) https://supercupni.com/team/blackburn-rovers/ From the above link, it looks like they have played a few games, can only see one match report though, from a 4-1 win against Crewe earlier this week
  8. I am assuming that this is from the U21 friendly v Barnsley yesterday Apparently Pears & Buckley played, Leonard scored 2 and got an assist, & Rovers won 3-0
  9. DeNeve is quoted as saying his salary has quadrupled, I would imagine Alebiosu will have had a similar uptake The Belgian explained why he wasn’t able to turn down a move to the Championship club.β€œWas I able to double my salary? In my case it went up four times, so it was an offer I couldn’t refuse on all fronts,” he added. There is a minimum rate that foreign players moving to Championship clubs expect, its currently somewhere between Β£5K & Β£8K per week, and rising year on year.. This is still less than half of what more established players would demand
  10. I know that you will have just got this wording from here, so this is not a critique of you. But he had no value set for injury proneness in the last game, so his "injury proneness" would have been randomly assigned a value at the start of each any every save
  11. Apparently each deal is worth "up to Β£3M" Jones Kante Which by my maths, is more than Β£0 Also If Hackney is sold, Boro will sign another midfielder, with options in mind who they’d hope can come in and make more of an instant impact to replace a regular starter. I wouldn't be surprised if they ended up with Brittain & either Travis or Tronstad
  12. I imagine that comment will age like milk by the time the window is closed, As they have demonstrated in recent seasons, they spend upwards of 70% of the money that they bring in, and they are just about to bring in another Β£20M +
  13. They also have had a lot of departures from their first team squad But that being said, if Rovers were under an embargo, as we have seen before, we would end up with Sacha Petshit and Bengali Fode Koita, rather than a Brandon Williams, who may have a questionable character, but is a potentially ambitious signing who could make them a good profit if they get him back to previous levels
