  1. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/november/decision-to-make-on-chapman/ Are we thinking Harry might make the bench before Xmas then?
  2. Dickson Etuhu: Ex-Nigeria player guilty of match-fixing in Sweden - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50407929 Wonder if him and Danny Murphy agreed to be shit when at Rovers, for a little backhander!
  3. Hopefully you're right mate, but Tony's track record gives me doubts.
  4. Swap Denly for Crawley and Bairstow for Buttler and that would be my 11. Really looking forward to this winter. Cricket should take my mind of the shambles at Ewood.
  5. Really hoping we go with youth in the test series. Sibley and Crawley look good.
  6. Your job is one that I have often wanted and wished I had gotten into it at an earlier age. It's a job in which you are bound to divide opinion and without doubt rattle some cages. As somebody pointed out earlier, you do need a thick skin to constantly write about issues that will not sit well with some people. I am firmly in the Mowbray OUT camp, but I will admit that when many on here were saying it last season I completely stood by Tony. I don't think I was wrong to, because I believed at the time that he would sort us out in the summer. Now if Tony keeps his job, and all of a sudden we go on a run that sees us climb the table, which could happen, then I am sure some of the anti-Mowbray group (which I am part of) will start to feel differently. Hindsight is a wonderful thing! Your job is to write it how you see it! Our job is to say it how we see it! I enjoy reading your stuff, just as I enjoy reading everybody's varying opinions on here. Just because you are in the public eye and we(as members of a forum) are not, doesn't mean that your opinions should be attacked anymore than ours. Keep writing and keep supporting!
  7. Have just been flicking through t'internet and I reckon when our scouts were watching Dijon, they were looking at the young striker Mavididi. He is with the same agency as Gallagher and Walton. Think I remember reading we were interested in him at the start of last season. He's currently on loan there from Juventus U23s and is about as prolific as our strikers. 1 goal in 10 appearances.
  8. Get him signed. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/november/determined-gregs-on-the-comeback-trail/
  9. I think if we are playing DG then Downing has to start. Make the most of his crossing ability.
  10. You could quite easily replace Leutweiller, Bennett, Bell, Evans, Smallwood, Mulgrew, Samuel and Gladwin straight away with U23s and not miss them. That is a massive chunk of wages freed up. With that saving you could easily bring in a keeper, a couple of defenders and a striker(that can score) and still have room in the wage budget.
  11. Majority of Cardiff fans want Hughton. Bookies have Harris as odds on favourite.
  12. I'd give him £20k a week and £1million promotion bonus. Hand him £10 million in January and let him do it his way.
  13. Could he get our current squad into the play offs with the help of the January transfer window? If the answer is yes then give the old boy a 6 month contract.
  14. Fully expect this to be the line up against Barnsley. No imagination No desire 2-2 draw
