  1. Dad of 5. 3 of which are Rovers fans, yet to see a Rovers team to be proud of. 1 is a Spurs fan, so I am quite enjoying their slump and other is a paw patrol and playing with babies fan, she does have her first Rovers kit though! I really hope my kids, except the Spurs fan, get to enjoy the highs I experienced in the 90's. Can't see it happening anytime soon, but who knows what the future holds.
  2. I just think he'll use Evans away and Holtby at home. The other 10 players almost pick themselves ATM with Tony. I'd be happy with a 1 commanding defender and a Cunningham style left back if nothing else. I like the look recently of Adarabayio. There's potential of goals if the supply is right, which is why I would have Chapman on the bench. I don't think he is ready to be starting matches, but he could tear some defences apart in the last half hour of games. I think we are resigned to having TM at the helm for the foreseeable future. I am certainly in the Mowbray OUT camp, but if he can finally listen and act on the fact we need defenders in January he might just win a few fans back.
  3. I think he'll set up just like the Preston game. Hopefully we can hit them on the break.
  4. Completely agree. Smallwood and Evans could be sold. The backline has to be priority. 2 centre backs and a left back and of course our own quality keeper. Just wouldn't surprise me if in January and TM is still here that we sign another midfielder.
  5. Well I think he has fallen out with Johnson for whatever reason. He doesn't see Evans as a regular starter. Downing probably only has another season left. Holtby, he wants to use further up the field. Smallwood the soldier has gone AWOL Buckley still early stages. Bennett hasn't played up front yet, so I would imagine he'll be looking at that role after Christmas. So yeah I reckon a hard man midfielder might be on Tony's mind.
  6. It doesn't say that those were the players we were scouting, just that they impressed. I would imagine we were looking at defenders or central midfielders.
  7. This is how I see TM lining up for this one. Have a feeling we will sneak a 1-1 draw or we'll only lose by 1 goal.
  8. A couple of mustard keepers at Dijon! Hope we were looking at them.
  9. Hibernian: Paul Heckingbottom sacked as head coach - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49789618 Hibs fans love Mowbray!!!
  10. Wasn't saying I would. Just saw him at 33/1 for the Stoke job that's all.
  11. Would anyone take a punt on Tim Flowers? Seems to be doing a great job at Solihull Moors.
  12. Roses are red, Your shirt is half blue, Benno has stopped sucking me off Please can you?
  13. Can't argue with the character the lads showed today. Buckley didn't know what to do when he scored. Was great to see the huddle after the game too.
  14. Wasn't sure whether to celebrate or not when Tosin's header looped in. I was chuckling as he ran into the box with that note though. Whatever the outcome of today's game any decent manager would have had us up by at least 2 goals going into the last 10 minutes. Wednesday were awful. This league is about as bang average as I can remember. Norwich of last year would be spanking every team this season. Maybe we'll all be surprised and this might be a turning point. We might do a Villa. One team usually does! Plus points from today.. Adarabayio I thought was solid at the back. I would have him over Lenihan. Williams was an upgrade on Bell or Bennett at LB. Gallagher is starting to look half decent. Obviously his family are settled into their luxury house now. Travis trying to get the crowd going showed he might be a future captain. Even though Downing is nearly 76 he can still play a big part anywhere across the midfield. TM's new policy of winding players up with offensive notes works. Steele,(sorry Walton) made a quality save in injury time. Bring on Leeds now, which we'll probably end up winning right before the international break ruins our momentum.
  15. Time to switch off the TV and tune in at 4.50. At least it sent my 2 year old to sleep.
  16. And a bit more security at the back, as well as 2 up top
