  1. I think they'd only offer a new contract if there was genuine interest. They are protecting their asset (Raya) and making sure they get even more money next summer when another bid comes in.
  2. https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2020/sep/29/deadly-dychonomics-premier-league-clubs-wont-care-if-efl-teams-go-under Not if Dickhead Dyche has anything to do with it. The perma-moaning prick.
  3. I think most people on this board knew about Holtby, but I'd imagine Kaminski was indeed scouted by the Euro scouting team. It would be the sensible conclusion to make.
  4. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/gallery/2020/oct/03/graffiti-fishing-and-mr-whippy-unseen-photographs-from-footballs-yesteryear Some belters here. Lots of recently discovered Rovers photos from 50's and 60's...and a few from some lesser teams. Ally looks a bit cold!
  5. The window hasn't shut yet and we've signed 3 good 'uns. These are the facts?
  6. I think the 3 we've signed so far are excellent signings.
  7. PNE have just signed a striker from Norway if that helps?!
  8. That is definitely the spirit! And you never know, the league is as wide open as it's ever been.
  9. It's a damn good deal that we're expected to pay more than last season but won't be able to get in the ground? Also, if you bought matches passes separately it would cost you £300 instead of £399. And who knows what will happen in 21/22. We might not even be back in the grounds then. And if we are ST prices might be so much more expensive as to make any savings negligible. In short, it's a terrible deal.
  10. Nice words from Mogga. That must inspire you as a player when you get backing like that from the manager.
  11. ...and a representative on the Board. No idea how feasible any of this is but there may come a time when the club depends on a pledge from the fans.
  12. Because that's the only bit that refers to the ticket prices. Why commit just 5 words to it is a question for Waggott. I'm guessing it's because he couldn't defend it.
  13. It wasn't the supporters who took the club to the third division and a debt of £150m.
  14. How were they dishonest? I think you're looking for an angle that isn't there. It's fun to watch though so please carry on.
  15. If it's in the T&C's then of course it's ok. It's incumbent on individuals to read them. I think most people knew there was a 2nd wave coming (apart from Dido Harding obvs) and that games behind closed doors were a distinct possibility.
  16. Probably not. The T&C's would have stated that games played behind closed doors due to Covid were not refundable.
  17. 'We've done everything we can' was explained by the fact you can spread the cost over the season. That's it. So no different to other seasons. He's literally done nothing except put prices up. Someone said he was retiring soon. Looks like it might have already started. This is all caveated of course with possibility that he has absolutely no power to make any kind of decisions on ST prices etc and he's just told what to do.
