  1. Oh shurrup. I think I welled up a bit there. HNY Mike.
  2. It's all been said but thanks to all who work on the site, and for keeping it going. Happy New Year to Rovers fans everywhere.
  3. Battle of the form teams. Battle of who could care less. Both got 4 pts from their last 6 games. Both lost 4 of their last 6 games.
  4. You're finally seeing the light. Bucko would spend training meggin' him just for sport. Cruel world.
  5. He might be better off at a small club. Rovers might be too much for him.
  6. A good move for Chapman. He has obvious ability but a questionable attitude (according to Mowbray). He seems the type to need an arm round him and a bit of faith. Hopefully he gets regular minutes and comes back to us a lot fitter and sharper. Mowbray doesn't like wingers so there's no point in Chapman hanging around Ewood. It can't have been easy watching Gally get picked ahead of him.
  7. I'm on it Merce. I trust you with my life!
  8. Tony Mowbray's priority is the self-preservation of Tony Mowbray as BRFC manager. Everything he says after every defeat tells you that. This myth has been built up (mainly by him, but also by Waggott)that he is somehow different in that he values decency above all. Apparently our Owners have similar values, so he's a great fit. I'm sure he's a lovely bloke but having to signal your own virtues as somehow being compensatory for not winning football matches strikes me as a bit, well, cynical. Let's face it, he's on a great number. Brockhall must be every managers dream. His mate is CEO. The CEO has it on record that he makes recommendations to our absent owners regarding football matters. He's not going to recommend his mate is sacked. Bottom line - Mowbray has shown he isn't capable of organising Rovers to win enough games in the Championship to get in the Play-Offs, never mind get promoted. That isn't going to change, no matter how long the journey. So, not only is Mowbray failing in his 'target' of Top 6, but Waggott is failing in his duty to recommend Mowbray is replaced. They should therefore both be sacked. Over to the Owners!!
  9. Depends what happens to the money we receive. And if the players we sell get replaced. We, aren't even safe from relegation yet.
  10. At least we won't get Coyle again.
  11. A year like no other? Not really for Blackburn Rovers | Lancashire Telegraph A decent assessment.
  12. Rovers fitness latest as four players sustain knocks | Lancashire Telegraph ''At Middlesbrough, with total respect to Tony Pulis and the way he plays, as we saw with Sheffield Wednesday at the weekend, he plays with a very compact unit infront and there’s no spaces to play through, for Aitor as well who we’ll face at the weekend. I’m asking Daniel to play in a team that’s a lot more expansive and I think his body is finding the extra workload hard until he gets acclimatised'' Tony bigging himself up.
  13. "People didn't do their jobs" - Mowbray. Nowt to do with Tony.
  14. He is as well. In 17th. About right.
  15. That's the bottom line. He'd had 3 years. Defenders are coming. Tonight he's blaming 'the striker' for not picking up Sarr. It's never Tony's fault.
  16. It's 'individual mistakes' this week. He's hung a 'striker' out to dry for not marking Sarr. Possibly true but weasel words none the less.
  17. 99% of manager go stale after a few seasons. The difficult 3rd season as it's know in managerial circles. Tony's nearly done 4. He's had a good run but he's clearly out of ideas.
  18. Wow, he's actually using the Travis excuse 2-3 months after he got injured. Mowbray is shameless.
  19. Yeah, it's really exciting losing at Huddersfield as opposed to losing at Anfield.
  20. Anyone can start a poll. Go to 'start new topic' and crack on.
  21. Are we still giving him until the end of the season?
  22. I think they've got enough on their hands with the pandemic.
