Rovers loanee Brad Lyons plays through ex Rovers John O'sullivan who earns a penalty for Morecambe in the play offs second half of extra time. 1-0 Morcambe
Final score 1-0
Well done Morecambe
And scored by a player Rovers have been linked with this summer.
Delighted for Morecambe. One of the favourites for relegation at the start of the season.

I think those FF minutes suggest Waggott knows the ST take up is going to be low - he was getting his excuses in early.

I didn't compare him to AF. What are.you talking about?
Exactly what I said👍
Anyway, whilst we're on the subject of players not being good enough, do you still think Dack hasn't 'delivered' in the Championship?🙄

Fair enough, if we were comparing AF to AA which we are not. 🙄
If you have a read back over the last two pages you will note that it was you who brought AA into the discussion🙄
AF is very, very average. It doesn't surprise me you rate him👍

I guess the main question is who is in charge and are Venkys arsed?
If Waggott is pulling the strings there isn't a cat in hells chance of Mowbray being potted.
If it's Suhail then let's see if he's got the bottle or the nous to make a big decision. It's time to step up Pasha.
@PashaSapss on twitter if anyone wants to make some noise!
I think we know the answers to these questions now.

The question may have been asked but the meeting minutes are sent to Waggott for approval before being published. I suspect that any real details are redacted unless they fit the current narrative.
If that's true it makes the whole thing a pointless box-ticking exercise.
And who's the guy saying the training ground should be moved to BwD?

I really don't get the Ronan Curtis link.
He has contributed (goals + assists) about 17-18 in each of the last three seasons in a decent Pompey team.
Chapman contributed 8 in half a season on loan for a poor Shrewsbury side and is two years younger than Curtis.
What would we gain from spending 2-3 mill in getting Curtis? Mowbray has never been able to get the best out of wing players, especially given he plonks Gallagher on the wing most of the time.
I think that's your answer. Very consistent and significant contributions. He's also left-sided.
I just don't see it happening though as he'll command a fee of the amount you mention. We were skint last summer and couldn't afford fees of £1m so I highly doubt we'll be spending £3m on someone....unless AA is sold.

If Ashley Fletcher is getting a gig in the Prem then AA should be nailed on to playing alongside Messi next year.

Jerry Yates from Blackpool played very well today. Was impressed by his movement and his hold up play within the last few minutes before being subbed today
Could be ideal replacement for Armstrong
If he's under contract we probably can't afford him.

He should back at the club along with CEO or Senior management team talking to players or their agents or their clubs trying to get deals in or set up deals. The facts he isn't doing this leads to think thats his position isn't 100% safe despite Waggott's comments to the forum.
Jesus wept. Just because he isn't doing interviews doesn't mean he isn't back working after his holidays. It also doesn't mean he isn't still on his holidays.
Very few interviews are done in close season. You might get one or two.

Never know will Venkys and I have notices that Mowbray is very quiet in the media since end of the season and no interviews really
That's because it's the end of the season. FFS!

According to the FF minutes it looks like ST's will out next week and that ST holders from last year and year before will get a discount of some sort. Or some sort of deal at least. Free pie?

I don't have time to read the fan minutes, but someone on FB says they're our now and confirm we are still under embargo until 30th June.
Anybody know if that's right? That would put us a few weeks behind most clubs, on top of the few weeks we are normally behind most clubs...
9. Transfer Embargo In the light of reports of a transfer embargo having been placed on the club MC stated that under EFL rules they had to submit accounts by 1st March and 2 year projections by 31st March and that they had done this. The EFL had some queries on the data which the club were working with them to clarify before 30th June when any full embargo would come into place. The owners had provided all the assurances asked by the EFL and the club were confident that everything would be resolved by 30th June
FF Zoom Minutes 18.5.21 copy (rovers.co.uk)
That reads like we aren't under 'full embargo' now but could be by June 30th.

A new contract for Mowbray and I’m done.
I'm done now on the basis he's still employed by the club, as are Waggott and Venus. They tried to sell the training ground. Let's not forget that.

Do people sit in these meetings and just go "Oh, okay then" whenever an answer is given?
1 win in 18 is an excellent return during a once-in-a-century pandemic that affected Blackburn disproportionately, a pitch resembling the Somme Battlefields, an injury list requiring the erection of a military hospital on the DE car park and finances that meant at least 7 members of the first team couldn't afford to eat for most of the winter. Tony continues to do a great job. We hope to win 4 games next season.

It's never Steve and Tony's fault. This should always be remembered. Only God can judge them.

Come on, I watched the game. He did nothing, apart from 1 cross.

I really dislike Chelsea but I'm glad City lost. If you start the game without a striker you deserve naff all.

Was he playing? He didn't get subbed because he was playing well.
