Weird one, I think the commentators are right, I don’t think managers/staff can come into contact like that with players. Crazy, he was just trying to get the ball back for a quick throw, but proper “rush of blood to the head” stuff for your head coach to do that. Poor reflection on him, shouldn’t give the ref a decision to make.

The players deserve a relegation, some more than others and a vanishing few not at all. Unfortunately, we cannot afford a relegation. It remains a distinct possibility that we get one, but we can’t afford it.

Yeah? Pickering selling Pears short just now and Hyam earlier in the half, before the two mistakes he subsequently made. I don’t think gifting four opportunities to your opponents in the first half while not really testing the opposition keeper at all is a performance I’d call “fine,” honestly.
