Well depends on your football knowledge, experience, how much football you watch, etc
No it doesn't.
It depends on who is actually available, who is open to alternate offers, which clubs would be willing to let their manager/player speak to other clubs etc.
None of which we are privy to.

Just like I thought so. No answer. no possible options name. Only a few weeks, Mercer ask me who would be my shortlist to replace JDT and I gave him 3 realistically options who we could appoint. Eustace was on that list https://www.brfcs.com/forums/topic/36778-v-west-bromwich-albion-a-13124/?do=findComment&comment=2546680
didn't even know JDT was even a manager until we approach him
Why do you think that anyone on this board, or the average supporter for that matter, has any clue what managers would have been available to us, and similarly, what players would be available in any transfer window?
We don't. We're just punters, not employed in the profession, and so in the main and by definition, we don't have much of a clue.

'Telalovic is improving'.
How can anyone repeatedly say that with a straight face?

Waggot's modus operandi.
No effort goes in to atract home support; it's far easy to fleece what will probably be a big away support.
-
We currently sit in 16th position, 7 points off a relegation spot and looking over our shoulders.
Talk of good or bad runs is moot and can be used to prove or disprove any argument. After 31 or so games, you are where you deserve to be in the league. We are where we are, simply because we're a poor side.

Last night emphasised how awful our squad really is; if the starting 11 don't perform, then we've got zilch to offer in terms of changes.
A culmination of non-invested ownership, incompetent execs, and beyond woeful recruitment.
We'll get mullered on Saturday playing like that. The only silver lining would be that it will only take half an hour to get home, rather than the dismal 3 hours of last night.

Continue to perform as we did again last night, and relegation is a shoo in.
Eustace needs to find a way to grind out results, and he needs to do it quickly

Looking forward to this. Amazing how the fixture list can throw up games with such relevance.
Anyone know if we can pay on the gate?
I'm certainly looking forward to attending this far more than I was a week ago!

I've been one of his worst critics, but he played very well yesterday.
Getting the ball forward quicker and behind defenders makes much better use of him IMO.
If he has to stop and think, he's nowhere near as effective and inevitably turns back.

It does, but this is not a despicable football club.
Steve Waggott and these owners are despicable but they are just temporary administrators of it, just like Oyston, like your man at Reading, Anderson at Bolton and so on and so on. We are the club and we will prevail (just fuck knows when)
Exactly. It's our club, not theirs.

Law of averages says that we're due a win. I've been saying this to myself for weeks, though....
So...I say 2-1 to the mighty blues.
Another defeat, however, and the Ewood lid will blow off big style I imagine.

Forget last season and pre December.
In the predicament we now find ourselves in, he's useless.
-
I see that Bolton have publicised season ticket details for next season already.
That's how to do it, Swag.
I'll not hold my breath, though.
-
From what I've heard, Travis had a bust up with Tomasson after the xmas Huddersfield game when Tomasson vented at the team with a ' If you don't want to play for me, then....' line.

The loss of Wharton shouldn't come as a shock to anyone, least of all Broughton.
If he hasn't already got replacement/additional deals lined up, then that's incompetence at the very least.
If he doesn't know what budget he has to play with, and hasn't been pushing the owners for an answer, again that is incompetence.
If the owners are not forthcoming with said budget, then his job is untenable.

When you have a player of the calibre of Wharton walking out of the door, and players like Telalovic, Sigursson, Hirst, Ennis et al coming the other way, there's only one direction we're heading in, I'm afraid.

On the game, we simply have to get something out of this to stop the rot.
Tomasson will hopefully have a few options to change things up; the very least I'm expecting is Pears coming in for the hapless Wahlsted.
Another defeat, and Tomasson will start to feel the heat.
Another defeat in which he refuses to change anything personel or tactics wise, and he should rightly get some pelters.
I've got my positive head on though, so 2-1 Rovers.

We were due to play Rangers apparently (according to something I saw earlier) but they pulled out.

Yep, Ke*n got far more grief on a match day than the owners and that’s when Venky’s were unpopular/treated with suspicion too - so JDT has no chance.
Always the lightning rod as for most fans it’s just about the match, they don’t give the club much thought from game to game apart from maybe a glance at the LT (unlike us tragics).
Not that I ever want us to lose a game, but a continuation of our poor form may well be the trigger for broader angst.

If we lose this weekend, it will organically go off i think
That is how I think it will play out, also.
Rightly or wrongly, if we lose on Saturday, then Tomasson will start to get grief for our dire form. People generally have tunnel vision when it comes to results. ie it's the manager's fault. Fingers will be pointed at him in the first instance.
If our form carries on as is though, and a relegation battle becomes more of a likelihood, I'd expect the grief to then escalate beyond Tomasson over the coming games.

Rovers are asking for mascots for the Wrexham match for £150. The caveat is that they have to provide their own kit and can use any one of the three we have. On a related note I have been told that the players have been told not to swap or give away shirts because the club has run out. Perhaps D-Day Read should be looking into embarrassments like this rather than dreaming up schemes to alienate supporters.
Is this really what we have become?
I've heard the same. The players have to pay a 'fine' if they give their shirts away at the end of a game.

Playing so called 'entertaining football' and losing, is still losing.
After watching us lose game after game, it didn't make me feel any better about it despite the fact that I watched snippets of pretty passing along the way.
