  1. Apart from Ayala, Holtby and Johnson these where signed before Mowbray stabilised the club. Mulgrew and Bennett stayed too long and you can’t blame Balaji for that, it was Mowbray. The others where brought in at no transfer cost (excluding agent fees) to add experience. As for making a ‘push’ they are hamstrung by FFP. Do we want a Reading, Nottingham Forest situation?
  2. Evidence of good journalism No I’m not, maybe you are dude
  3. News links = journalists = conjecture = no evidence
  4. Because they didn’t fit Balaji’s profile. He wouldn’t pay up.
  5. Can you provide evidence to back up your quotes, don’t include journalists other itk’s. Hard evidence please
  6. I should have been more clear, Balaji wanted a young marquee signing that would increase in value. Brereton was identified by the club that meet that criteria. He would not have trousered the cash for a three average players. Don’t forget that he was an English youth international when we signed him and he was playing for a top championship club.
  7. Can’t remember Travis ever getting dropped. The games he missed was due to injuries. Nyambe definitely has been made the scapegoat by Mowbray. He’s never received the public backing by Mowbray.
  8. Revidge how do you know he’s on 20k p.w. He’s shown what he can do this season when he’s playing down the middle. You can’t blame the lad when Mowbray plays him as a right winger and Dolan as the centre forward. As for the comments on the 7m spent on Brereton being better spent on other players/positions. It was Balaji who wanted the signing. I don’t think he would have sanctioned 2m on three or four players. IF we sell him this summer it will be for a lot more than 7m and that will help with ffp so we can reinvest in the team.
  9. PS, I wouldn’t know as I’ve never been called out at work! My glittering career comes to an end next October 😃🤗🥳👍
  10. Don’t just clap Wheelton, shout you encouragement. ‘COME ON BOYS WE CAN DO IT’
  11. Same as love in the North West and Yorkshire, pet in the North East and hun in South Wales. Can’t think of any other regions that have the same. Nearest in London is ‘RICKY’.
  12. Sorry Wheelton I can’t agree, when they are on the park we HAVE to get behind them, encourage and cagoule an improvement. Would you try your best if your colleagues called you an inept wanker. I don’t think so. Boo at the end if you really have to, but not until the end of the game.
  13. I agree that criticism of underperforming players is our right, we pay to be entertained. This forum is the ideal place to vent our frustrations. What’s not right is booing any of our players whether young or old, especially if they are pulling their tripe’s out for the team. We are all Rovers.
  14. I promised not to add anything else to this thread about Steve Cunt. But I’d like to expand on Haste’s post. He wanted to take the glory of other peoples efforts “I discovered Phil Jones ~ bollocks”. He was filmed pissed and slagging off Allardyce calling him a crook. He was not with the youth set up long enough for me to make an opinion, as I’m sure he was involved in stabbing Sam in the back. As a person a complete sleaze bag. I hope that puts your mind to rest that Hibs have got what they deserve (my dads friend was Scottish and supported the Rovers and the Jam Tarts).
  15. I excluded both Phillips and Carter, Magloire has several mistakes in every game I’ve seen him play at both u23s and the first team. He should be out the door. I quoted Wharton as an example on how he could develop. I never said he’d replace Lenihan or Ayala. Given Lenihan maybe gone either in January or the summer (a ready made replacement is needed). Of the others Louis is our best bet CURRENTLY. I don’t understand your negative feelings to the boy. Christ he’s only 21 and you’ve written the kid off.
  16. You’re being harsh on the lad. I go regularly to to u23s and he’s better than Saadi and the others who’ve played at centre half excluding Phillips. Granted he’s behind Carter, but he better than the Brighton lump who Mowbray has taken. He has time to fill out the same as Wharton. A full season on loan at a league 1 team will make or brake him. I’m betting on the former. Plus he’s holding his own for the Gib when they play the lower National teams.
  17. Because of the exodus it’ll not only be Nyanbe, Brereton, Rothwell, but also Lenahan. The under 23’s can’t bridge the gap, so the fat jock needs to be looking on the bargain basement shelves.
  18. You seem to go to the far end of a fart. They are not questioning his back injury, rather your understanding of the English language. Take the advice and stop the responses as it makes you look silly.
  19. The end of this season will see it at 12 months, then the following January he can sign a pre contract. Given the on going saga with the other players do you REALLY what Kaminski’s discussions to follow a similar path. Get him signed on a long contract now, or look to sell him in the summer and have another goalkeeper lined up. As I said in my original post we don’t want to be desperately searching for a goalkeeper when ours has gone to a new club. As a side note they should have given him a new long term contract LAST summer.
  20. I’d like to bring up the goalkeeper situation. Kaminski has 12 months left on his contract. I can’t see him signing another as he’s in one of the best international squads and he’s in the top 2 keepers in the division. We need to ensure we have a replacement lined up. Pears is not good enough and it’s too early for Eastham who is by far the best backup at the club. We don’t want another Whilton situation again.
  21. It was the first home game I’ve missed this season. My cousin was having her 50th birthday party. I wished she’d have had it when we played Fulham.😫
  22. How dare you mention those 6 fingered inbreeds on here. Shame on you.
