  1. Don't forget Markanday, who's beginning to find his form. We have yet to see 90 minutes of Ennis who has just got over injury and wasn't match fit.
  2. Two good performances in a row, this teams beginning to gel. Leonard and Markanday on target again, but we nearly paid the price when we missedd 2 golden opportunities, slack defending from Rovers to let West Brom back in it, the defence stood off while Phillips slotted the ball in the net. Good performance Rovers let's hope it continues.
  3. Pickering was taken to the cleaners against Girona, they waltzed round him like he wasn't there. Let's hope he puts things right against West Brom.
  4. Luton have agreed with a deal for Kaminski, will some of it be spent on strengthening the Rovers squad. We could do with a decent winger, Ennis is a powerful looking tallish striker who could get his head to a few decent crosses.
  5. Unlike some comments who reckon we were rubbish, I disagree, I thougt it was a decent workout for Rovers. Leonard and Markanday on the score sheet, it will do there confidence a World of good. I thought Ennis looked the business when he came on, and he gave the Spanish defence a few problems at times. somebody mentioned he was slow, they forget he's just recovered from injury, I can see him scoring goals for Rovers. We were unlucky not to level it at 3-3 with a couple of decent chances that just went wide. Dont forget we were playing decent opposition, who beat Real Madrid 4-2 and Sheffield United 2-0.
  6. We could do with a decent crowd turning up at Ewood Tomorrow for the friendly against Girona, who have just been promoted to la liga. They have beaten Sheffield United 2-0.
  7. A £1,000, how about getting a round in at the beer tent. It would make it an even funner day.
  8. Talking of decent strikers, I hear Trevor Francis has died (Birmingham City and Notts Forest) he new were the net was.
  9. Siggurdson out for 8 weeks with a groin strain!! is the injury curse on Rovers continueing into the new season. I will be at Ewood Saturday for the friendly against Girona. It sounds like a fun day out with Rovers trust taking over for the day, and I can check out the new boys see how they perform.
  10. I was told off somebody, they are playing a friendly against an Italian team. You can tell I played truant from Geography lessons at school, back behind the desk.
  11. Good point, but scoring can only improve there confidence.
  12. Good idea Pizza stall, might get a few Italians over for the friendly.
  13. Well done Youth Zone, for paying for childrens tickets who cant afford to go to the match. The children are the future of Blackburn Rovers.
  14. I can see a big crowd turning up for the friendly a week on Saturday. I will be there to see how the new boys perform and it sounds like a fun day with the Rovers Trust taking over for the day.
  15. It was nice to see Hedges and Dolan on the score sheet yesterday.
  16. Already JDT and his backroom staff are weaving a bit of magic, 2 strikers and a midfielder on their way. We could do with a decent right back, our weak point near the end of last season, left backs standing in for right backs. And a decent winger.
  17. If we end next season, like we have ended the last 2 seasons ( put up the white flag) it should be get in for nothing the last 2 months.
  18. I was on the same bus as some Sunderland supporters on the way to the Ewood fixture, a lot friendlier than some away supporters.
  19. I hope he does, he left the foundations for a decent Blackburn Rovers team in the future. You can only work with what you've got at cash strapped Rovers.
  20. You mentioned some supporters just go to have fun, unless i have got the wrong comment, if thats the case sorry.
  21. I see the Millwall scum trashed a few Rovers supporters coaches after the game. Scum like this dont deserve success.
  22. Utter rubbish, I was there against Luton the last home game I enjoyed the day but was gutted with the result. I am sure 99% of Rovers supporters felt the same.
  23. I said before the game it will be to much to ask the last game, all I wanted was a decent performance to end the season and Rovers certainly provided it. Lets get some prolific goal scorers in the Summer and resume business as usual next Season. Just one downer, we will have our work cut out hanging onto Adam Wharton.
  24. Sunderland play Preston away and W.B.A play Swansea away, all we have to do (we are sick of hearing it) is win our game. It's always been intimidating at Millwall, they are on a par with Chelsea. Lets hope our lads can block it out and concentrate.
