  1. It takes a bit of the pressure off for me to be honest. I've spoken to a good few of their fans this week, and they're not confident, they're taking a draw now just to keep the run going. One said last night, if Cullen misses out, we win. I look forward to them a lot more than when we were on top, the roles have been reversed over the past few years,as you say we're due one. Don't like doing predictions, but got a feeling any win might involve wily Weimann.
  2. Hope it all goes well. Todd for a boy surely 🤔
  3. Don't know what all the panic was about.
  4. Just made a brilliant save onto the post.
  5. It is the one game you don't experiment in.
  6. Didn't he start Brittain at left back and Hedges at right back?
  7. Course you are, I just didn't think you'd actually want him back.
  8. Not one person on here would swap Pears for Wahlstedt
  9. Seemingly got triple what he was getting here.
  10. Really hope they've got this one right, agree it's the last one I'd be gambling on. I'd rather an older experienced keeper rather than a foreign punt. Got to trust them I suppose, after the last couple of signings, but with only Pears available, it's one they must get right.
  11. Let's be honest, it's the headband. Looking past that, Cantwell could be that creative spark needed, which we haven't got. Quality isn't in doubt, if Eustace could get a tune out of him, Gueye could be lethal.
  12. Looks a sensible move, especially having last season under his belt.
  13. Key to the situation might well be the number of potential incomings. If it's a small number ie 3 or 4, you can guarantee that Eustace would, rightly, be adamant he gets the ones he wants. If it's 7 or 8, he'd probably be happy to gamble on 3 or 4.
  14. Wouldn't want Hannibal anyway..........
  15. John Kettley? He's a weather man.
  16. Ironic thing is, given the choice I'd pick Ruddy over Trafford.
  17. Dingles want a sale, unsurprisingly. More thinking it might shove Ruddy out.
  18. Just on Talksport, Newcastle want Trafford on loan, Dingles want a sale.
  19. I'll be there on Tuesday, and hope we win, but all I'm really bothered about is doing whatever it takes to be in the best position on Saturday.
  20. Of all the positions, whether it's Ruddy or not, I'd be inclined to give Eustace the last word on the keeper. I don't mind having a bit of a gamble on any other appointment, but it's crucial we get the keeper right, and Eustace is happy with who comes in. As we all know, it's an easy one to get horribly wrong.
  21. Maybe Eustace remembers the players as ones who were in the play off places when he left, rather than ones who went down under Rooney.
  22. It's the Cowboys v the Indians.
