  1. Think the latest from Jackson (last week) was that only Ennis and Hyam were close to returning and they were still at least 2 weeks away. That was before Siggy got injured so no idea on him.
  2. Words have meaning. If they won they quite literally saw out the game.
  3. What a ridiculously entitled attitude. Did I miss us spending big in the summer and not having 10 first teamers out today.
  4. Oh well, chalk it up to a bad day. Still 7th, 2 point from the play offs. We'll smash Leeds 🙂
  5. Yeah, these injuries have been a disaster, and we're going into the hardest month of year based on opponents and number of games.
  6. Sounds like one of those days. The players are probably running on fumes at this point.
  7. Must be a brilliant experience for those young lads on the bench. Think some are only 16/17 years of age. The injury crisis is possibly unprecedented. Saw the Spurs manager saying they have 10 out and it's the worst injury crisis he's ever seen. For us that's Pears, Hyam, JRC, Hedges, Siggy, Ennis, Gally, Dolan all missing (have I missed anyone?). Crazy, and apparently only Hyam and Ennis are anywhere near fit and they'll be 2 weeks minimum.
  8. Are you saying they will dominate or be dominated? it's hard to tell.
  9. JDT on Harry Leonard:- "It's difficult to get up to speed in this tough league. We know he has great potential, a young boy who can score goals, link up play and do the right things. He is a nice boy and maybe too nice for this game and you are allowed to be tougher. He is 20 years of age, you'll never be the finished article. I am sure he has fire in his belly to be in the starting line-up and he can step up for us. It's a tough game and if you look at him, he is one of the unproven goal-scorers in the squad. We are trying to help him become a proven goal-scorer, he has a lot to learn but huge potential."
  10. They were booing at H/T at 0-0, after being the better side. Deluded.
  11. JDT has said himself that a team evolves as the season goes on - players drop out of favour, other players one in from the cold etc. Gally was his first choice striker when Gally was fit earlier this season. I think he trusts him. I also think he's another that is better than what he is given credit for. I think he'll be straight back in when fit.....could be wrong.
  12. Yeah, they seem to like their new manager......saw a post on twitter showing him walking round the perimeter of the pitch after last night's match shaking hands with the fans. Seems to be trying to galvanise the support. Could be a tricky game.
  13. I wasn't going to say but seeing as you've quoted me....yeah, it was you, but you did the same with JRC. You're very quick to write players off who have hardly had a chance.
  14. Dolan's been good recently, and HL has obvious potential, but Gally should be back in as the No9. He might not be prolific but he's a genuine outlet because of his pace. I think he was starting to hit form as a No9 when he got injured, he's jut unfortunately made of glass. Think JDT appreciates his work rate so he trusts him. He could easily play the RW position too.
  15. No, they are writing him off. 'Not Championship-level' is a direct quote.
  16. Think it was the WBA game I saw him first. He was neat and tidy, but was blowing out his arse after 60mins. JDT took him out of the team like he did with Sammie last season. Shortly after, when asked why he was out of the side, JDT said he had to pass forward more. He said exactly the same about Bucko. Tronstadt obviously learned what was required, and Bucko didn't. Siggy seems to be now getting the same treatment. He won't get back in until he's up to speed and can do what JDT wants. JDT has said himself he places high demands on the players.
  17. It was only last week that Leonard was written off as 'not Championship-level'.
  18. That's how it starts. The nods, the shy smiles, the coffees, the chats and then the warm embraces. Too many good men have been lost to Swag's charms in the Premier Suite. Resist at all costs.
