Yep, we're excellent from box to box, but on nights like these you feel you've seen it all before - poor defending one end, poor choices at other.

We're the better team, we've just been sloppy at times and put ourselves under pressure. Terrible defending for their goal, that wouldn't have happened if Hill had been RB. We've not had much luck again, an inch lower and both Siggy's and Moran's shots go in. Not much Leo could do about their goal, it was a good strike. One thing noticeable is they are a lot more skilled in the dark arts, which comes from experience. We look wet behind the ears at times. Still plenty of time....about time Ennis earned some money and come on and get a goal.

I hope I'm going to double bluff them by saying Sammie, Moran and Siggy have been shite so far.

Possibly also about where in Lancs you grew up. My old man was born in Blackburn but has lived most of his life near Preston. A lot of his mates are Nobbers. Preston's the only match that he can't cope with Rovers losing!

Rovers v PNE has always been a big Lancs derby, same as Rovers v Bolton. Maybe it's a generational thing but the 'Burnley is the the only match that matters' thing has become a bit of a Millennial's meme!

If you play 3 midfielders you'd have to move Sammie from the position he scores goals from. As nobody else scores goals in our team that would be mental!

I think we all knew we failed to sufficiently strengthen CB, RW and CF in the summer. It's amazing how quickly all those positions have become major headaches.

That is a huge blow, he's been integral to the way we play both at FB and CM. I think he would have scored quite a few goals this season, he was making some great runs into the box from CM and clearly has a knack for scoring (one of the few in our team that does have that knack). We desperately need to strengthen in January.

I'm not sure he'll want to move Dolan from the striker position. He was excellent on Sunday. I think the only question marks are over who plays RW and LW. If it's Moran on the left then Siggy may come in on the right?
