  1. He was fantastic. Like a few in that team he's a confidence player. He's been good now for the last 3 or 4 games.
  2. Haha, I'm sure some people don't even watch the matches but comment anyway. We were completely outplaying them. If it hadn't been for the sending off we'd have absolutely mullered them.
  3. Nah, it wasn't reckless, he won the ball cleanly. And it was nothing like Duffy's challenge. Duffy went straight thru the man with his trailing foot.
  4. They don't cos he won the ball. The rules haven't changed in that regard.
  5. He won the ball. The madness came from the shit ref.
  6. We haven't struggled to create chances this season, we've struggled to convert them. Having more players up top failing to convert the fewer chances we'll create by having fewer players in midfield probably won't help!
  7. He said they'd know more about Hyam early next week and SS might be fit for the weekend. He didn't compare German T4 with L1. He said Telalovic and Ennis are similar in that neither are proven Championship goal scorers, and also that neither is Leonard. He said he now has to try and make them Championship goal scorers. He then talked about losing proven Championship goal scorers in the summer. I think his point was fairly obvious. He categorically stated he didn't know. Twice. He made the valid point that we created enough quality chances (Leonard x 2) that his decision was justified.
  8. It really isn't
  9. Where would historic football clubs be without the 'fit and proper' owners test? Similar characters to that chap could be our next owner.
  10. I've got a 104 Man Utd friends.
  11. I disagree. He's protecting the players.
  12. I thought you'd mentioned a few times you didn't buy a season ticket?
  13. His team are losing. He'll be back if they start winning.
  14. The purpose of the standard tag lines is to take the pressure off the players. It's good man-management.
  15. Brittain actually got a touch on it when he should have left it to JRC to tap in. JRC spent the rest of the first half shaking his head every time Brittain messed up (which was a lot)
  16. Good post, with the exception of the Leonard bit. JDT is on record as saying they worked on Leonard all last season to polish him up. Bit harsh to say he didn't play him last season cos he can't finish. He wasn't really ready last season. He ;s only a kid. If he can find his shooting boots we will have a really good striker. I wouldn't write him off yet. Again, he'd just a kid.
  17. First 10 minutes we were good. Two poor decisions in the last 3rd cost JRC two tap-ins....Brittain taking it off his toe, and then 5 minutes later Hill delaying the cross when all he had to do was roll it across goal. JRC cut a very frustrated player and spent the first half bollocking Brittain. Rest of the half we were shite. Credit to Swansea, they were first to every ball and passed it well... ex-Rover Grimes was very good. Brittain and Siggy were rightly subbed at H/T. Siggy is having a nightmare. He couldn't even control the ball. Brittain looked every inch the full back today. Moran and Markanday improved us a bit, as did adding AW to the midfield. That pass to Leonard that put him through was class. There were a few positives: Leonard's movement is class. He's a proper striker that plays on the shoulder of the last defender. His quality of his movement puts him through on goal but the worry is he consistently misses good chances. Then again Ennis and Gally have missed a few when clean through. S Wharton did well, that one slip aside. Thought he was dominant in the air and his passing was generally good. Hill was good defensively again. Dolan was better again. Problem is up front. Sammy was poor again, Siggy was shite, Dolan did ok but isn't a striker. Basically we lack quality where it counts. That can be traced back to the summer window. We need Gally, Leonard and Ennis to get fit and stay fit if we're going to get anywhere near the play-offs, and even then it will be a tall order.
  18. Never a penalty, Carter takes his leg away and doesn't make contact.
  19. You're assuming Leo is being told to punch. Szmodics absolutely bollocked him when he punched one in the 2nd half and held his hands out as if to say 'catch it'.
  20. And we love you, ya gorgeous bastard!
  21. Underrated first goal. Had them chasing shadows.
