  1. Not fact checked this but it has Mowbray he's a good lad written all over it
  2. More good saves from Toth, can see why Pears thinks the pressure is on
  3. If you think Buckley is bad today imagine how bad he must've been playing left wing for Sheff Weds
  4. The cap has done him absolutely no favours. He's somehow still blind
  5. I know pears is playing well this year but I can't help but be drawn to a keeper with a cap on. Toth for number 1 for me
  6. Some comments from the Reddit announcement of Forshaw Plymouth fan - A strange signing for Blackburn. Forshaw was like a Rolls Royce when he signed last January and you could tell he'd had recent Premier League experience the way he looked after the ball. For some reason the engine has gone since then and he's really struggled to get up to the pace of the Championship this season. I expected him to go somewhere like Barnsley. I'm happy we've got a player we weren't using off the books, especially because he was on a big wage by our standards. If I was a Blackburn fan I'd be seriously questioning why they've signed a player who couldn't get in the worst side in the league. Plymouth fan - If you give him a simple role where he doesn't have to break into a sprint or cover for anyone then he might do okay. His first touch and passing range is decent, but he's only got three gears. Leeds fan - I’m surprised he had any engine at all after he left us, he was out for two years with a hip injury, he had to have teeth removed to help his recovery! Leeds fan - I'm surprised he managed to play for you at all. There were times when we were doubting if he was real or a figment of our imagination. Leeds fan - Great footballer . Obviously not sure if the legs are what they were so I’m sure Eustace knows that and has a plan for Adam . When we got relegated Adam Forshaw was one of only a few that never threw in the towel. Without the injury record he would have spent his career in the Prem .
  7. My alternative was a Garret pivot and I think that scares me more
  8. Optimist hat on If needs must for a few weeks, a 5 3 2 formation with Batth Sanderson and Hyam gives us some threat at corners A three of Tronstad, Forshaw and JRC (provided 2 of those 3 are fit) might hide some of Forshaw's age related lack of physicality and let him play with a bit of the technical skill he has remaining That's my best effort
  9. Knows Eustace but out and out cente back?
  10. Dominic Samuel surprise return?
  11. Id have rather had Isaac Hayden on loan than Forshaw but unfortunately championship superclub Portsmouth must have beat us to that
  12. Never heard of him, what's his goalscoring record like
  13. What year is this comment written about
  14. Just for the fun of it, January free agents below. As usual I've not seen them kick a ball Striker Prince Osei Owusu - 1 in 3 in MLS in 2024. With Toronto on about 10k a week. Last kicked a ball in October. Erik Choupo Mouting - he has arguably the best agent in football so is likely too coy to come here, and is almost definitely passed it. Also hasn't kicked a ball in 6 months. Mariano Diaz - a bit like ECM, ex Real Madrid and Lyon - might not fancy East Lancs Kemar Roofe - presumably retired but showing as available? File this below Andre Grey Wingers Ryan Kent - discussed previously Yaw Yeboah - was on 8k at Columbus Crew where we are scouting Farsi from. Apparently plays LWB and LW. Gaston Gonzalez - was at Orlando with McGuire and averaged a 7 fotmob rating. Might be turned off by our handling of his team mates Ivan Cavaleiro - ex Fulham and Wolves. Been playing as recently as December! Centre mids Jonjo Shelvey - Voldemort himself, relative local lad. Good set piece taker, just completely immobile. Dru Yearwood - last player October in the MLS, allegedly (according to fotmob) a bit of a box to box
  15. Legendary Brazilian fullback Facu
  16. this is the team he played, man for man is this better or worse than what we currently have
  17. I think that shows him as playing 1 game there
  18. On the face of it a huge signing for Sunderland with that french central midfielder. Big money move announced, just not sure on Le Fee
  19. What happened to the Portuguese left winger from Getafe/Girona who did well in a friendly Vs us
  20. He's a left winger who is good on this year's FIFA which is why twitter accounts are linking him Impressive by me to use both the old name for FIFA and twitter
  21. We will have a half season ticket to match our half season deadline day loanee signings game time, and a Flexi season ticket to match our OAP/lower league punt signings game time
  22. Listen John, I know you wanted names through the door and we've just lost Lewis but listen. We've got O'Grady-Macken - that's 2, arguably 3 whole names there. Think of the savings in the wage bill
  23. Just seen this on Instagram. To anyone who has watched him, has he any chance to step up? Semi relatedly, had no idea Paddy Lane was ex Rovers.
