  1. I'm choosing to believe the universe has shifted and I am now the football manager of Blackburn Rovers. Be warned everyone, were signing nothing but 17-19 year olds. Anyone over 30 is taken out back to retire on a farm. None stop 4 2 3 1 gegenpress
  2. I literally made Kutesa up as a name because he scores for fun on my football manager save and someone linked a YouTube video of some Argentine who scores goals in Switzerland too. That said, his highlight reel does look like what we need!
  3. Kutesa was one I made up just based on another guy mentioning a player from Switzerland, which is a shame really as he's better than the other two listed
  4. You know what they say about the Swiss too, their flags a big plus
  5. Someone linked a signing from Switzerland as a speculation signing earlier. For my 2 cents I'm throwing in football manager cheat code Derek Kutesa from FC Servette 27 year old goal scoring left winger, bags of pace, contract up in june. 13 in 23 this year, 11 G+A in 36 last year. GBA exempt due to champions league experience.
  6. In fairness that Tan is a multi millionaire, Venkys have no chance of competing - let me check the figures... Oh wait, they're worth an estimated double he is
  7. Plus the fact he's played a Japanese season since January
  8. Always felt he's one of those players who played well against us and ends the season on 10 goals. Stats suggest played 6 Vs us, scored 1 assisted 1. Can't imagine he's on big money
  9. Lowe have recalled their lad from Walsall. Sounds like Cannon might be off?
  10. I wonder who Eustace will end up managing - Denmark, Norway or Finland
  11. For Leonard, he's doing everything more or less right bar the finishing and timing of runs. For me these both come from confidence and form. I In a bit of a weird way it's unfortunate for him that were up amongst it this year because if we were on course for a bog average 16th then you'd think he'd have a few more chances in 2025. If that happens and he gets 1 or 2 on the bounce then who knows what clicks
  12. I think to summarise most broadly, if we signed 2025s version of Adam Armstrong (i.e. a pacey player who can finish and do a job out wide from a lower division) then most would be satisfied allowing for the slap in the face this may be given sales of previous years. Who that player is? Ricky Jade Jones? Poku? Kyle Joseph? Big Louis Barry loan? If this is the target (which I'm starting to think it is) then I can start to see some logic in Wallace provided it doesn't eat into a bigger budget for the mystery striker come winger mentioned above. In 35 minutes increments, you'd think Gueye and Wallace would trouble most teams (provided the ball is above shoulder height)
  13. Was just thinking the same, had your fun lads but can't let spurs tire out. Gee it along a bit
  14. If you can only afford a one trick pony, a pony that's either rapid or immensely physical is usually the best bet!
  15. Obvious sentimentalism but if he wants to get his badges anywhere I'd be happy if rovers were accomodating - more so given the open door to our DoF and how he acted
  16. We've not paid the annual subscription for the scouting software have we, were looking at 2020 stats - that's the only explanation I can come to. Forshaw, Wallace and Bamford? We need a tenacious backup midfielder, a lacy winger and a striker who can convert chances - these are the polar opposites
  17. Demtri Mitchell from Exeter can play left back or left wing and is infinitely faster in a sprint than anyone at the club, and is a local boy
  18. If the option is Ryan Hedges or Diaz at left wing, you're going to pick Diaz
  19. One of the Conteh brothers from Germany, ones in the top division for a relegation club and the other is in the second division. Both been clocked sprinting this year at over 20mph Average about 7 or 8 goals involvements a year but definitely something we don't have
  20. Here's a punt, Lewis Morgan from New York Red Bulls. Done well enough out there, struggled slightly for Scotland and Celtic. Out of contract in summer. 27 years of age.
  21. We only ever do 1 in 1 out and we're more than likely shopping Sigurdson round the Nordics/Benelux to finance any attacking additions
  22. How can Gueye not cleanly strike a ball but pull out step overs like that
  23. Leonard needs 6 months at St Mirren followed by 6 at Blackpool
  24. Not fact checked this but it has Mowbray he's a good lad written all over it
