Championship 24/25
ageoftherover replied to Forever Blue's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Yeah, I know. I just feel that a lot of these players at the top of the championship would be better off waiting, dominating for another season or two, and wait for a club that's not odds on to drop right back down. I get that there's risks with that approach too, and maybe Kaminski was too far the other side of 30 to consider it, but i dunno you see players like BBD fade away into memes and its hard not to wonder if there might have been a better way. -

That PL move is really not working out for Kaminski atm is it? -

I don't think we can complain too much about the pen. Yes, Hedges appears to be making it clear his hands aren't going into the players back, but when your hands are at head height you can't really argue it's a natural position. Agree with whoever said we'd be frothing if it went against us. It was unlucky, but unfortunately, football has a way of biting you when you miss numerous sitters like we did today. I'd have like to see us do better with a few of the half chances too (Yukis header, Dolans chance near the end). -

I always find it strange that people find this to be a point in his favour. I've worked in places where there was complete nonsense going on above/politically. Within that, there were still people working alongside me who counted on me to do my job, not to mention customers/clients. I know the circumstances around JDT were abject last year, but I will always consider straight up downing tools to be very poor professional behaviour. -

Was Gueye really claiming that? Can't for the life of me see anything approaching a touch. Looked like it hit a Swansea player if anything. -

A reminder we're not the only club with idiot owners. -

There's a lot to like about us atm. Credit to Eustace for where we're at. -

Fucking cunt of a thing. -
Good to see most business done well before deadline day. Playing Brum in the cup (allegedly) contributed to the calamity that was the 2023 window. Playing that lot at the turd on deadline day could have caused armageddon. Great business really. No matter what you want to say about the level of support we get from India, the recruitment team has done really well with what they've been given. Let's hope it translates on the pitch.

Gotta hand it to a man that commits.

Not wanting to cut off the hopium supply, but the Bergkamp consortium is looking at League 1/2 clubs aren't they, with the narrative being around pushing into the championship. Or has there been a recent update?
