  1. I like this. Haven't written him off. Am curious on his best position. Think attacking cmf? He doesn't seem to have an eye for goal or that final shot so needs someone up top to pass to?
  2. Reckon we will see Ayala again this season? Haha. He's left the building surely
  3. Leonard shows he has the ability. He just needs a run in the side now.
  4. How you figure? He didn't even concede last night..
  5. https://youtu.be/jnf7fCZ3rDk Just watching the highlights, he got in to a great position to have scored and most attacking players would have put that away especially considering how desperate we are to a) score a goal b) make the play offs. Watching his performance recently particularly live and as he has had more starts I have been wondering what is his best position? He isn't an out and out striker. He isn't a traditional winger like Thomas who crosses in to the box.. Is he an attacking mf? Is he a no.10? Would he be better with an out and out striker to pass to? Does he keep the ball too much because no one else is making the runs he requires so he ends up in a dead end?
  6. Coventry won't sit deep so we won't have the low blocks to blame. They will be looking to win to leap above us.
  7. Agreed. Strange that clubs think we don't realise this. We can see their performances drop. It's not personal but we can see their level drop. If you don't want to play for the team then sit in the crowds and give others who are keen to play the opportunity..
  8. Makes zero sense...unless JDT is trying to show the club why we need to BUY a striker in the summer
  9. Reckon we would do anything differently if we even make play offs? Starting to lose faith now! We should have won tonight but we can't score. Why gally plays up top instead of Leonard ? Gally isn't a no.9. Leonard is
  10. Wow. City will win the league. They know what to do at this stage of the season..
  11. Just seen Boro v Norwich highlights How did we lose to such a poor Norwich side! Anything can happen.. come on rovers!
  12. Think we will sell one of these two this summer?
  13. Agree. However I doubt it will happen. He loves Morton too much
  14. All valid points. Seems like a lot of fans on the hull thread want TK back... I'm torn as I do rate him, he is our no.1 etc. But pears hasn't done anything worth dropping for at the moment and your points above suggest TK wasn't on top form.. so am tempted to stick with Pears for now
  15. Longman left the action in the 89th minute on Easter Monday with a dead leg, but Rosenior expects the ex-Brighton winger to recover in the coming days. "It's a dead leg, and hopefully he's available for Saturday because he's our last option available as a centre-forward," Rosenior told Hull Liv "At the moment, Oscar and Aaron won't be available for Saturday - they're not far away but they won't be available for Saturday. He's (Connolly) back running, he's not in full training. We've had to slow down his progress, there's nothing major to worry about but I am not risking any player at this stages sounds like they have some serious injuries going on. We need to capitalise e.e.age.
  16. “First of all, everyone in the building wants to play. ‘You can only make 11 happy and then there will be a lot of disappointed players. “The important thing with those players if they put their ego to the side because they’re thinking about the team. “I think we can see that with the togetherness we have within the squad and of course Thomas, I have two great goalies and both of them deserve to stand in the goal. “You have conversations with the players who are playing, those aren’t playing, and you are concrete with what you expect and what you want to see as staff and as a coach. “I would always say that I have talks with players. You need to make connections with players and also be concrete about what you want to see on the pitch.”
  17. Glad he was dropped tbh. He has been poor
  18. How do we do a poll then?! TK or Pears...
  19. Yeh what is with all those extra touches. Dolan especially
  20. I agree..he did well in the last game against Huddersfield and Carter did a good job at covering when required (very few times in second half) I really rate JRC but I also am agreeing with the point above. If he isn't being adequately covered when he roams he leaves a gaping gap which was exploited at Norwich
  21. This is spot on. Why do we allow teams to exploit our RB because we give him a license to roam. Either we have proper cover back there or we move JRC
  22. Please don't mention a certain Keith again. Gave me shivers thinking about him in our shirt
