  1. Failing a medical doesn’t automatically mean a deal is off it’s up to the club buying if they wish to pursue or not
  2. Conceded 3 last night - not convinced Boros approach will work myself gone very very top heavy but ‘on paper’ they have done the best yes
  3. Conor Chaplin - is injured so isn’t match fit proven O’reilly - city must need him so not sure on this one tbh along with the loan add ons of must play etc Armstrong - only became available late yday so assume we had our deals done ali - Hamadi - agreed I think he was the one we should have been all over from day one danns - could be anything and reported to be injured so maybe dodged a bullet agree with the rest though we should have been on the ball a lot sooner regarding incomings that we did get - I am confused on the Woodrow one but Iv settled myself on it overnight as a bench player he could be ok he can drop into the 10 role if cantwell is injured can play up top too dennis is the gamble of course but what a gamble he could be just a shame itl likely mean another 2 league games missed before we see him - I think he’s quality (fully fit) pace power can score again though how quick can we get him up to speed and where will we be by that point
  4. I don’t agree but what I would say though his best years may be behind him
  5. In relation to boro West Brom signings they can now have no excuses boro in particular but I said a couple of days back they went too top heavy they concede too many (of late anyway) that won’t do it I don’t think west brom - albeit a loan Armstrong is great business at this level and if he hits the ground running I can see them being the team that pushes away in 5th
  6. Summary for me good deadline day but poor window overall we left it too late too many weeks/games gone within the period with such a threadbare squad dennis I touted (more in hope) a month ago didn’t think would be realistic could easily be a game changer but he would have needed the 3/4 weeks to get up to speed. Training and playing matches are totally different ribiero - like the signing personally Woodrow - thrown by this one tbh unless sigurdsson is gone or Leonard’s back injury is season ending - he can play deeper though Kargbo - as Iv stated before will judge him when seen Overall though I’m very concerned about the lack of plan/structure re windows/investment. Questions need asked of those above particularly regarding all the short term deals our players contracts running down and the potential of high squad turnover come the summer we were told venkys have the money we were told were clear of ffp we were told venkys still are interested but yet all short term deals/loans/frees suggest otherwise time will tell one thing im 100% sure on is Eustace will be gone come the summer unless we get top 6 so let’s give it a rattle
  7. Agree in the main however a fully fit Dennis could easily be the difference
  8. I’m going to give you chaddys reply wait until the window is closed and see where we are at
  9. If spending time at top level means nothing then why did you back Eustace for experience? you wanted bamford to didn’t you keep going good reading of a Sunday
  10. So you think BTA would be a quality signing for us at this level but don’t think iheanacho would be a quality loan at this level? Madness
  11. Didn’t play a minute in the away game and the fact they are losing im pretty sure Liverpool will go full strength at home to spurs
  12. Busy weekend Friday night was massive it’s allowed fans to ease off a touch and give the recruitment team one last roll of the dice (still believe we should have been on the ball a lot earlier) kargbo - happy to give him a chance positives - pace and relatively match fit negatives - contract length a concern and how long it’s took to get a summer target let alone Jan Mohamed - don’t think it will happen anyway but top player religious beliefs not relevant for me (refusing to play though is a massive no) danns - like the look of him match fit and decent minutes (for his age/position) at Liverpool highly thought of….loan is annoying though O’Brien - can always do with a good squad I haven’t mentioned forshaw much as I think I needed to see him - iv now seen 3 games he’s not good enough so cover at cm would be good but only at a decent wage cut for me still the recruitment team have a lot to answer for regardless of the next 48 hours but fair play to je and the team even in our worst period of the season we’re still in playoffs mentioned the other day I think 6th this season won’t get to 70 point teams all around too inconsistent so if substantially backed with fund that we DO have we have a right chance….not hopeful though
  13. Could be but definitely a gamble hasn’t played in 2 months and been injured quite a bit this season too also not sure how he would play in a Parker team they quite frankly are a dreadful watch
  14. Because we didn’t offer 4million for anybody
  15. Agreed yes all or nothing for carrick now but attack isn’t the issue of late for them it’s in defence travers a good pick up but their midfield and defence been suspect of late
  16. Very top heavy Azaz doak burgzorg Whittaker Villa lad ihneacho great options but their weakness has been conceding
  17. Want more experience myself if we don’t get it would have danns over him anyway but still a valid point mowbray only in the door and can get things done straight away
  18. Two good solid defenders in the door for fees too how it should work - sell Whittaker reinvest - no excuses - have smaller gates than us recently in league one if anybody is in any doubt re venkys etc just look at Plymouth indeed
  19. Would you not say that is good management as opposed to like great players. As the second half season fall off happens every year because we can’t help or progress the team the above have been good signings but if we tally the amount of incomings all together the majority have been poor
  20. It’s ok though Eddie says the signings have been fantastic and Eustace is probably to blame for all those………..
  21. I would take your post seriously if most of your previous posts weren’t complete negativity towards Eustace - you have an agenda which you won’t let go
  22. To be honest it’s pointless debating with chaddy because he changes the wording all the time to suit his own narrative can never admit he has been wrong or the club is wrong (not sure why Iv been wrong loads of times nothing wrong with it) It began with Eustace wants experience il trust whoever we get in as Eustace would have given the ok to it to now saying well we can’t get that experience (which plenty on here said due to clubs lack of ambition) so we’re looking overseas and Eustace will have some sort of say but not the final say now to then for 2/3 days agreeing with most on here about how poor it’s been that we haven’t even got one player in (priority position) and how we haven’t spent any money and not even a contract renewal to now going back again to say let’s judge come the 3rd all angles are covered - he can never be wrong when he agrees/disagrees with everything on here
  23. That’s exactly it it works when you have footballing people in the hierarchy who have knowledge and ambition for the club we don’t which is why it’s not working stoke sheff w two off the top of my head also having issues according to fans so unless we have a competent owner/board this will never work for us
  24. And that’s the jist of it for me the amount of say/control a manager has or should have - again to reiterate I’m not saying it doesn’t work I’m saying it doesn’t work for our club as the ones above have no interest at all
