  1. Didnt see the game but caught highlights. We looked good for the win and Millwall gift wrapping us a goal helps. Merry Christmas. Great to grab 3 points at home, a nice lift going into this tricky period and airtime on Sky for Pasha out and the boycott reasons. Wins all round 🙂
  2. Good luck to Litherland. Big day for the lad. Want to see a win but god we look bare bones. 5. Yes 5 of our 'stronger squad' summer signings on the bench. 1-1
  3. 🎣 Don't be daft. Enjoy yourself and respect those that stay away are doing it for the same reason you cite too.
  4. Finely poised. First hour tonight is big. Skittle them quickly and we should look to keep them out there 4-5 sessions and wear them down and take a healthy lead. I fear if we dont and have to chase 4th innings against Lyon. If they add 50-60 as Starc can do and momentum shifts, I hope we've enough beligerence to see off the new ball.
  5. Great post btw and I agree until something big happens a lot will see no issue. (Although lots were happy to see us concrete half of brockhall and then no issue when it was used as a loan guarantee and left club ownership) The frustration is, some of those who want to boycott inc myself, think that it may happen down the road, we have the roadmap, we can see an ownership who no longer wants to fund the club and should draw parallels it may be a slow death. If its fair for the Venkys in crowd to conclude we'd be another Bury/Bolton, its fair to counter argue we could be another Sheff Wed with this ownership. Better to intervene now, knowing what we know, than wait until it does happen. Not aimed at you btw, it makes sense to the wider fanbase. You articulated the challenges. None of us know what on Earth the owners are thinking.
  6. No it isn't this season. However, alternatives vendors can be sourced for this years kit via google which was more my point and I completely understand not wanting to let children down, but there are ways you can have your cake and eat it.
  7. My lad is football mad and wanted a Rovers shirt, he's 4. This year i bought him kit from classic football shirts for his birthday rather than the club shop. Its doable.
  8. I wonder if they had been Sheff Wednesday fans they would be using the same defence despite the parallels. "Where would be be without Chansiri, who else will put money in ,FFP, supporr the lads, our transfer model is only way we buy, trust the strategy...this time next year Rodders....." Financial Summary for 2023/24 Owner Funding: Chansiri put in approximately £10.1 million in funding during the 2023/24 season. Operating Loss: The club recorded an operating loss of £8.9 million, worsening from the previous year, with a cash flow deficit of £11.3 million largely covered by Chansiri's injection of funds. Transfer Budget: The transfer budget was notably low, described by some fans as "League One investment at best," with a gross spend of only £3.5 million on players. Overall Debt: By the end of the 2023/24 season, the club's gross debt had increased to £68 million, almost all of which (£61.2 million) was owed to Chansiri himself. This limited funding in 2024 was a key indicator of the financial distress that eventually led to the club being placed into administration in October 2025, after Chansiri had stated he would no longer put more money into the club.
  9. Some names on that teamsheet. Interestingly also makes reference to 1874.
  10. Had to laugh to Pears "oh hes dropped it" standard stuff. You can sadly understand why Gueye has no confidence to match his limited ability, if hes a running joke among his own teammates. Felt sorry for him a bit, then i remembered he gets paid to play football and doesnt understand the offside rule
  11. There is a difference between fans who are attending and people actively seeking to undermine attempts to improve the direction of the club, such as shouting down people on social media or posting a counter letter. The latter cannot be fans, because they are happy to see 20k fans walk away, the club whither on the vine and clearly dont want the best for the club, so long as they can bank their super fan points. They are only fans of themselves.
