  1. Happy to see the back of Mak here. Cmon Harry.
  2. are you fucking joking me todd cantwell
  3. Nah I think he had to take it. Winger was through and rapid
  4. What is Cantwell doing waving a card there? So stupid at times
  5. Fair. Poor stuff at the moment but they're nowhere near our goal. Keep it tight and there's a goal here for sure. Dolan looking lively, ACD wants a goal too.
  6. I think the pass from Mak was a poor one, camera angle betrayed it a little.
  7. Real lack of quality coming out from the back and midfield at the moment.
  8. Leeds to nil. Baker ain't Trav and we can't score. Not a chance I'm watching this one.
  9. Purely by suggesting people are overreacting. This is what Rovers have done for years, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we lose the next three.
  10. We tend to agree a lot on here fella but I think you're wide of the mark on this one. Almost everyone is in agreement that Eustace is wringing practically everything out of a fairly limited squad, one injury in midfield has exposed just how thin the team is spread. Couple that with being conditioned to seeing a good manager and/or few good players regularly drag us into playoff contention in the first half of the season only for serial lack of investment to scupper progress I think people are entitled to interpret our loss of form as they have. I certainly am, to a degree. I'd be less concerned if our next two games weren't as difficult as they are but any way you look at it, turning in a performance like that against a team as poor as Hull is extremely disappointing.
  11. Granted I've not seen any of the match but losing this would be thoroughly disappointing from the likes of Cantwell, Tronstad and the other senior players. A huge opportunity and two very challenging games approaching. This is where your big players need to step up and it would seem none have.
  12. How are we looking? Out with the Mrs and the rovers twitter feed suspiciously quiet. Drab one so far?
  13. I should be clearer, he should get a payrise. I don't think he should be comparable to senior pros like Trav, Hyam or Tronstad. One of the top earners at the club? Not for me.
  14. Rewarding inconsistency and general mediocrity is not the way to motivate a team; in any industry.
  15. I don't think he's particularly small or slow. He's technically sharp and has a bit of nouse about him. I agree that a league 1 loan would be beneficial, but that's only if we bring in someone better. I'm just not buying that strikers can only come in two varieties.
  16. Leonard is a number 9, playing him elsewhere would be defeating the point of bringing him in as a rotation as we would have to play a striker anyway. He's got good movement and an eye for goal, despite a few misses. I can't really understand the too small comment, either. Is being big a prerequisite for being a striker?
  17. Twice in 5 minutes they scored from the same wide player recieving the ball high up the pitch with a wife player who we keep getting told works hard and defends for the team nowhere to be seen. Your refusal to criticise Hedges (until he leaves, of course) is outright funny at times.
  18. I'm sorry I just disagree. Work rate comes at a minimum. Experience and leadership (it's definitely claimed by some that these are traits of his) are low on the priority list for a winger. I don't think he's very good. He's already under contract for another 18 months and we don't have much money. It's a strange decision.
  19. I think the amount he plays speaks more to the lack of quality we have in that position more than multiple managers faith in him.
  20. So what if he's given a new contract? He's currently contracted for another 6 months with a 12 month option. If he's on 7k a week, which I imagine isn't far from the truth, another year costs the club upwards of £350k. That's for a soon to be 31 year old with little to no resale value and undeniably poor attacking returns. The money would be better spent elsewhere, in my opinion.
