  1. That's not up for debate, they've done really well.
  2. I'd be hesitant to describe hiring a manager for a football club as over engineering.
  3. Tronstad isn't back yet is he? Same again for me, but Kargbo in for Hedges. Agreed that we need to take this one to them and get some dynamism around Guaye.
  4. Someone said earlier this is the kind of game where we occasionally show up and turn them over. Could happen.
  5. Yeah I think that's what might mean we get someone who isn't a horror show, even if it's only on a short term deal.
  6. I think part of the problem is the status of the club means that desirable names are fanciful at best. Steve Cooper would be great but can be discounted. I'd love Carsley but I think he's well beyond us. Rob Edwards would be fine. Karanka, O'Neil and the like are plain upsetting.
  7. Gonna go with a 1-1 here with my hopeful hat on.
  8. For the 1000th time: not having their own suggestions doesn't disqualify people from forming an opinion on those suggested.
  9. You are very rarely clear. And don't think people can't see your revisionism starting already.
  10. We couldn't afford her and there's not a chance she would want the job.
  11. You don't know his situation. *Why didn't he just quit if he was unhappy?" Is a deeply unserious question.
  12. Because walking away from a job with nothing lined up when you have a family is foolhardy?
  13. Watching him pre match. He's checked out if you ask me.
  14. I do, but only because I see it as the most likely scenario in which we're sold. I agree with your original line up. I hate the midfield but I would rest Trav. Cantwell needs dropping and ideally not bringing on. Give the new attackers a run out, we don't have 2/3 weeks for cameos. Sink or swim.
  15. Pears: 2/10. One good save. Awful distribution and gave a goal away. Flapped at everything. Beck: 3/10. One of his worst games, was rattled and showed his immaturity Batth: 5/10. Dealt with most of what came at him but poor playing from the back. Hyam: See Batth Britain: 5/10. Tried but was visibly frustrated. Had nothing Infront of him to work with. Travis: 5/10. Overran in midfield and couldn't push us forward. Buckley: 0/10. A truly woeful display. Lacking accuracy, bite and any semblance of game management. Hedges: 1/10. A point for not taking himself off. Such a poor winger. Dolan: 5/10. Not his worst game and got the goal but I'm being generous. Weinmann: 2/10. Invisible. Can't remember him touching the ball. Guaye: 4/10. Ran his heart out but did little else. Lacked quality. Subs: 0/10. Special mention to Cantwell who played as poorly as anyone over 90 mins, all packed into 10. Kargbo gets a reprieve for being new and quick. Eustace: 1/10. His worst game that I can remember. Allowed our midfield to be overrun for 70 mins. Left Hedges on and made some truly mystifying subs. Dog shit from all involved, really.
  16. This has been one of the most demoralising performances of the season. Such a shocking lack of quality running through the side, even from our supposedly more gifted players. Absolutely atrocious.
  17. They're taking the piss. To be fair I think I could dance around JRC and Forshaw
  18. Sorry what in the fuck are those subs?
  19. Oh that's really shit goalkeeping. He's deteriorated over the past month
  20. It's criminal we didn't get a midfielder. The fact that I want Forshaw on speaks volumes.
