Valérien Ismaël: Former Head Coach
London blue replied to DE.'s topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I know we can be a dreary bunch but the majority of posters on here are well informed and know their football. Very, very few celebrated VI's appointment. The combination of (lack of) man-management, towing the Venkys line and throwing multiple players to the wolves and frankly baffling calls regarding tactics and subs is proving that right. Don't forget his win record. He's shite. -

Can see this being another "deserved" 3 points. I might start a league table. -

You're DETERMINED to offer the pricks running this club every excuse to carry on neglecting it. We, not for the first time in the past year, were unable to host a game of football in accordance with the laws of the league in which we play. McKenna did what you would have wanted Ismael to do in his position, however much you ignore the point. Stop excusing this charade. -

Not to be a mardy prick, but why good luck? Good luck to every manager who picks up a new role and if/when they get fired I wish relegation upon their respective club. -

Championship Season 25-26
London blue replied to arbitro's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
You're talking about a bygone time, may as well talk about Crompton et al for the relevance it has to our current situation. For the avoidance of doubt, Watford are a far better run club than ours and are far more likely to taste success (by any metric you choose) than we are under the current regime. -

He better be the second coming of Ngolo fucking Kante -
It's only a matter of time - most could see this a mile off.

I know it's a small thing and ultimately unimportant but I'm absolutely appalled by the standards on display here. These fuckers have so much to answer for. -

A stat in isolation is nothing. Wantonly ignoring context is what infuriates people. -

I think the opening 9 games, combined with the next 5 or 6 will prove too much to overcome. We'll be - in my opinion - in the bottom 3, low on confidence and leaders and the ask will be to steel our selves and outperform those above us. I don't think group of players or the manager has it in them. I predict us to get relegated. I'd love to be wrong. -

You have always and will always care more about being proven right than good faith debate. On the result. It's not good enough. I'm not about to celebrate a home draw against Stoke. I don't care about "deserved to win", we haven't won a game at home yet, it's fucking appalling. -

Let's play a game in lieu of our team playing theirs. Where are our next points coming from? Early December again Oxford at home or is that a touch optimistic? -

Miller just isn't a replacement currently. Regardless of how good he'll be in the future. I disagree regarding TGH. -

Tavares and Miller are demonstrably worse than both. No-one is saying we were amazing. We're definitely much worse now though. -

I find it really difficult to track the acceptable period of time that can pass before it's permissable to criticise a manager.

Imagine the scenes if multiple games can't take place at Ewood this season. I'm done being embarrassed by this club so I'm all for it. Bring on the rain. -

Sorry fella but your support of the club is actively detrimental to the long term success of Blackburn Rovers.
