  1. Eustace resigned losing SS judging by his comments in LT tonight. Reiterates we need replacements who can score goals.
  2. Tyjon getting lots of praise from Jackson for his performance tonight.
  3. Waggot’s streaming it from his house at £20pp Probably.
  4. Cool. And I said I think it’s a good decision to re-sign him. Nobody is shutting down debate. You can express whatever opinion you like 👍
  5. The manager is in the best position to judge whether Fadz is an asset to the squad or not. I agree with the manager based on what I witnessed last season. If you see that as kow-towing that’s fine.👍
  6. I think that’s called hindsight. Unless JE can see into the future he has to make a decision based on what he thinks Fadz can bring to the team in the coming season. He obviously thinks it’s a good idea to bring him back, and for all the reasons he stated at the end of the season.
  7. That was my issue with Hyam last season. We needed a leader and he as captain should have been that man, but he was weak. If it wasn’t for Fadz actually organising that defence we would have gone down IMO. Not sure who has been selected as captain this season but I sincerely hope it isn’t Hyam.
  8. I thought a few of the players in the last year of their contracts would be sold this summer, but clearly they can’t replace them so I presume they’ll just walk away for nothing next summer.
  9. Yeah, we need Hyam back to his best. His confidence was shot in the last few months of the season.
  10. My worry is Hyam and Pears. They were directly responsible for both the Bristol City and Sheff Wed debacles. Those two were a liability.
  11. Jackson saying Fadz talks at advanced stage and should be announced next week, same timeframe for Yuki.
  12. You could have said the same for King Kenny when he signed Tony Gale. These players bring experience and know-how. Fadz showed his worth last season. I doubt he’ll be playing every game.
  13. Yes, how they are operating is bizarre and Fadz is the perfect example. JE said he’d like to keep him at the end of last season and yet it’s taken until now for them to start negotiations with someone who won’t be on much. But we’ve seen it all before. The club is run by amateurs.
  14. Agreed, if the lad from Crewe isn’t ready yet.
  15. He definitely is. There was a scenario last season where both of them were running back after a corner with the opposition on the counter. Fadz left him for dead. I don’t think you realise quite how slow Hyam is.
  16. As above, he’s quicker than Hyam. And Eustace likes to defend deep at times so it won’t be a concern in those games. Fadz organisation skills are excellent. He brought so much to that team last season.
  17. Not really because we’re talking about a different player in a different team in a different position. Fadz was very good last season in organising a bunch of headless chickens into a coherent defensive unit. He was also quicker than Hyam last season
  18. How fit was he when he joined us last season? And if the manager wants him back then it’s clearly not a terrible idea to him, which us what ultimately counts.
  19. Super Derby Super Rams lost 4-0 to Chesterfield in a friendly the other day and their manager called the performance ‘unacceptable’. Im not that worried.
  20. According to Molla on twitter Yuki signed for Hiroshima rather than another club because Hiroshima were willing to include the clause that allowed him to move abroad for free.
