  1. Yuki taking part in training today and will sign 3 year contract (according to journo who broke the story)
  2. Haha, yeah maybe not the best choice of words! I looked him up and he’s plying his trade in the Isthmian league at about the same level as Brig.
  3. He’s only been a regular in the JLeague since 2021 according to Transfrmarkt. He’s averaged about 25 games a season since then. Their league is 38 games a season. Not great but no real concerns. Looks like he only started scoring regularly in League in last couple of seasons. might just be that he’s a late developer.
  4. Depends what period those stats cover and how many games his club plays in a season. Looks like he was at Uni until he was 21 and only joined the J League after that. I can’t imagine his college football stats are included.
  5. Jackson getting all defensive on twitter cos he might have called the Yuki situation wrong yesterday. ‘yeah well, that’s just my info, if it’s wrong then deal with it’ type of thing. Such a weird way for a journo to behave. Surely it’s his job to get the right info and stop guessing!
  6. Good point about the visas. No point wasting 2 on players who aren’t first team regulars.
  7. I think we’ve only scouted about 5 players in the last few years. We keep trying to sign them every window!
  8. That’s a good goal ratio for any striker.
  9. Nixon saying Yuki is in the country for a medical and due at training ground today.
  10. I think the rumour about Sammi was there had been an agreement between SS, his agent and Waggott that if a Prem club bids £8m then he can leave. Think it was @Andy who posted the rumour.
  11. Dingles charging home fans £55 in some parts of ground for game at Turf versus P’mouth.
  12. Jackson - Yuki still in Japan and talk of medical premature…but deal is progressing. Nathan Jones on the other hand is saying the first part of medical is being done in Manchester tonight 😁
  13. Why would we go back in for Maguire when the people who wanted him are no longer at the club?
  14. The closest to Hiroshima that does flights to the UK I presume
  15. Which is what I meant. The ‘pot’ is all income generated by the club. There is no money from India.
  16. Well yeah, but it all comes from the same pot.
  17. If they can’t invest until after the court case why are we buying Ohashi? And if we sell SS for say £10m I’m not suggesting we’ll spend £10m on new players. There will be a few crumbs from the table again.
  18. The fee for the Japanese lad is covered by an existing budget. Nothing to do with Sammi according to Jackson and the FF meeting, and quite right too considering what the club has raked in over the last 6 months. As for the end of July deadline for Sammi, it suggests there is no great need for a cash injection. You wouldn’t box yourself into a corner over some arbitrary deadline. I think that deadline is to make sure the clubs who are after him are being serious so it doesn’t drag on. And it would also suggest that future incoming transfers are dependent on the Sami money so they want it in as soon as possible so they can make bids.
  19. Less than that according to Jackson, sounds more in the £750k range.
