The ‘project’ is clearly buying young raw talent in order to develop them and sell them on. Gestede said as much iirc? What I’m surprised at is that they are actually following thru on their stated ambitions. The risks are obvious, I don’t think they need spelling out ad nauseam. However, if the club has chosen well the upsides are also obvious, exciting young wingers who can make things happen. And who doesn’t love watching an exciting winger? And the people saying it’s grim and we’re fooked and relegation is nailed on are the same people who said it for the past 2 summers.
