Another one bites the dust….

Shearer, on a recent-ish podcast, spoke about Wharton. Shearer said he’d been visiting Brockhall just after AW was sold and that ‘everyone’ at Rovers i.e. the people who agreed his sale, knew that AW had been sold on the cheap ‘for obvious reasons’.

Siggy is out of contract in June 2025. It wouldn’t be a surprise if he’s sold this summer if he’s not going to sign another contract.
