I think he had the 2nd most combo of goals and assists last season. His spin and pass to set up Szmodics at Leeds was as good as anything you’d see in the Prem. My concern would be where to play him to get the best out of him. I think playing him centrally just behind the striker. He’s definitely got ability.

Maybe it’s only now that they are willing to accept that reality, rather than deluding themselves that yet another manager/structure change will lead us to the promised land of the PL.

I think, from memory, Broughton said it last summer. The issue was that Dolan wanted rid of his agent (possibly a fall out) but was contracted to him until October ‘23, so he was representing himself until he was allowed to use another agent. So if he’s had a new agent since last October and still not signed the contract on offer to him then it suggests he can get a better deal elsewhere.

Yeah, both him and Gally have been offered new contracts but haven’t signed them. also Siggy only has a year left and no sign he’s been offered a new or would sign it anyway. So he might be sold too.

If Eustace plans on 5-2-3 I don’t think Dolan gets it n the team as he’s not the greatest winger, and probably isn’t good enough as a No9 to be first choice striker. If Dolan and Gally are refusing new contracts it was wise to sign them up for another year in order to flog them this summer.

I think Park is more on the recruitment side of things rather than coaching. Maybe Park is coming in to be overseas head of recruitment? I think he was doing that role for one of his previous clubs.

Yep, will be the first CL game I’ve watched all season due to not having TNT. It’s on Discovery tonight, seems they’ve moved it from YouTube where it’s been free-to-air in the last few years. The build up seems to be all about RM. I think I’ll support the underdog.

Presumably TD is responsible for player development at all levels of the club, whereas RD is responsible for transfers at all levels of the club. As DoF Broughton was responsible for both.
