Prediction: We’ll limp on until summer, maybe win one or two before the end of the season. We’ll finish 15th. In the summer there’ll be lots of talk of ‘he needs his own players, he needs to stamp his identity/methods on the club, we’ll be a lot better once he’s had the lads for a full pre/season’ Next season we’ll be bottom 3 by November and he’ll be sacked.

On terms of organisation and having a game plan this is far far worse.

Despite the shitty owners I still had hope under both JDT and Eustace that we could achieve something. I have no faith whatsoever that VI will achieve anything. Anybody with me on that or do I just need to cheer the fuck up?!

Is it 5-3-2, 3-4-3 or 3-5-2? Has a Rovers manager ever played regularly with a back 3? Will the change of formation herald a new golden age for BRFC? Or will we just be a bit shit and lose 1-0 after Pears chucks another in his net? So many questions…..

Disagree. We’ve been challenging for the play offs in 2 of the last 3 years. The mentality was fine under JDT, as it was under Eustace. You don’t challenge at the top end of the league unless the mentality is right, especially when you have one of the lowest budgets in the league. The issue is the owners and their negligence, the issue is not the players attitude.

They’ve also spent a lot more money on players.
