Lambert signed a load of players in January iirc. Mowbray signed BBD. The one that was shat on was JDT and he was the best manager of the lot. Let’s hope Eustace isn’t fucked over like JDT was.

Aye. We look really dangerous in the build up play at times, we passed it much better than the much vaunted Boro.

Superb win The back 4 were absolutely superb. Special mention to Pickering who once again showed what a good defender he is at this level. He’s a far better player than he’s given credit for on here. Doak did fuck all. Travis and Tronstad excellent in the engine room. We lacked quality up front at times but I thought Dolan and Ohashi worked really hard and closed down well. Cantwell showed his quality with the only decent thing he did all game. He’s a match winner. Eustace is doing a fantastic job

If they didn’t cover the pitch, and a pitch covering would have allowed the game to go ahead, then serious questions need to be asked about the people in charge of running the club. Feel sorry for the Pompey fans who would have been half way to Ewood, and the Rovers favs travelling from distance.

You’re right about the state of the club, but wrong about the reasons people no longer go. If we got new owners that were universally loved but we still finished mid table in the Championship every season, and Season Tickets still remained expensive, nothing much would change on the attendance front. If we played a play off match at Ewood under Venky’s, or played Liverpool in the 5th round of the FA Cup, the ground would be full (ish) Same as it ever was.

So they are back to funding the club again?
