  1. Guilty feet, we’ve got shit owners.
  2. You’re obsessed with pace. It’s quality players we need who are athletic and can cope with the demands of the Championship. Harvey Elliott was slower than Hedges but has 10 times the quality. Danns, from what I’ve seen, is a big powerful unit who is no slouch. He also looks a good footballer who will score and create goals.
  3. Agreed, but I think he’d be more of a Harvey Elliott in terms of impact than an ACD or Morton. Danns looks a quality player.
  4. Looks a good player from the bits I’ve seen, and physically looks a powerful unit. I think he’d be perfect for the No10 role behind Gueye.
  5. Nope, we lost control of the wide areas when our wingers went off. We couldn’t prevent the crosses coming in.
  6. He works really hard, but his end product is inconsistent. Interestingly when him and Hedges departed last night we fell apart.
  7. I thought Kargbo was Serie B before we signed him?
  8. Sky kept panning to Sheriff Fatman last night. Put me right off me fish supper.
  9. But as Steve said ‘spending money doesn’t guarantee success’ when questioned on the transfer parsimony. That’s the kind of bullshit Eustace is up against.
  10. Gueyreyr, or whatever we’re calling him these days, obviously had a huge slump in confidence after the Dingle gave at t’Turf. He’s now starting to find his feet, or rather chest and head. He looks the type who needs runners off him. Weimann, Hedges and Dolan were all quite wasteful in possession last night so all Gueyerrsys good work came to nothing really. He’s certainly not a fox in the box and Sutton made come good observations on how poor his runs were to get into scoring positions. If we get good players around him in the 3 other attacking positions he’ll prove to be a real nightmare for the opppsition defenders. He’s also really good at taking the pressure off when we’re under pressure. We noticeably spend less time passing it around at the back now when we’re being pressed high. Pears just boots it to Big Mak. And in fairness to Pears his kicking is pretty good when he has time. I still don’t think Geuyeryeyry will ever score another goal with his feet though🤔
  11. Chaddy is a big fan and had been touting his name all thru this window as someone we should sign. I agree though, Riis was useless.
  12. Harsh. The performance was good for 75% of the game until the likes of Travis tired.
  13. Looks like more of a wide attacker.
  14. No he elbowed their guy in the face and also handballed it. Definite penalty. Which makes it even funnier.
  15. Yep, the four best players on the pitch for an hour. Buckley’s passing was outrageously good at times.
  16. Some QPR fan on twitter claiming we’re signing some RB called Osman Kakay on a free. Probably bullshit
  17. A really good win, especially as it was against the no-mark Nobbers. I thought Travis and Buckley ran the game for an hour until they both tired. Some of Bucko’s long passing was brilliant. He can drop it on a sixpence from 50 yards. Both full backs are really good, especially Brittain. He’s been a revelation under Eustace. Gueye again a vast improvement on his early games. He looks a proper target man now. Hedges and Dolan a lot better than given credit for. They do so much work down the wings. Really poor from Pears. Got away with a crap punch in the 2nd half that their guy blasted over. His positioning for the goal was shit. Fuck off Preston. COYBsssssss
  18. The problem with that is we’ve signed some right shite under the new DoF model, or whatever bastardised version of it we’re operating. Secondly, the principles GB spouted were soon thrown out of the window as soon as JE was brought in. We’ve also sacked half the people who were responsible for implementing those principles, including the head of recruitment. We don’t have ‘principles’. You’re completely delusional if you think the tinpot operation down at Ewood is anything like Brentford’s.
  19. When did the manager say 2 signings are close? edit: just read it in LT…. Sounds more like hope than expectation
  20. We also need the obligatory ‘we’ve more chance of signing *insert similar sounding name* Adebayo? We’ve more chance of signing Ashley Banjo
  21. Only just read yesterdays LT but Jackson saying Rovers would like to get ‘1 or 2 in’ before PNE game.
  22. And the scales did fall from his eyes.
