  1. So which managers are currently out of work, cos we won’t be paying compo.
  2. He’s done a fantastic job. It’s a shame our owners and board are so utterly useless.
  3. He’s basically saying only a boycott would be effective. It’s been said a million times before to hit them in the pocket. However, that in itself is howling at the moon as we have a lot of stupid fans who don’t see the problem and will continue to attend (that’s not to say all attendees are stupid and don’t see the problem). Time for protests.
  4. Re your last paragraph, there was little anger towards JDT’s departure as we were on the crest of a slump. I think this time might be a little different as we’re 6th and Eustace is popular. So maybe Gen Z will get off tik tok and stage some kind of protest against our owners and board!
  5. Yeah, thanks, just read the LT story on it. All sounds very ominous.
  6. Who’s said Rovers expect an approach?
  7. Completely agree, I’m not defending the club in any way, I just think Derby would be a strange move for him. Then again, it is a big club with a lot of potential if the owners are ambitious. So maybe it’s a gamble worth taking.
  8. Why would he leave a club in the top 6 with only a third of the season left and an outside chance of promotion to the a prem, to join a club that might be in L1 next season? He’d be far better waiting until a more appealing job becomes available. The fact that quite a few appealing Championship jobs have been available recently and he’s not been chosen might tell its own story. We also don’t know if he’s unhappy at Rovers. If the current lack of support continues then maybe he does see Derby as a viable alternative, but we don’t know that. We also don’t know if he’s unhappy with how the recent transfer window went. He might feel the 6 players signed give him a chance of top 6. Conversely, he might be unhappy with the players provided. Again, we don’t know. There’s lots of jumping to conclusions going on.
  9. Leyton Orient doing well. Martin Keown a massive bellend.
  10. Wolves look a much better team under their new manager. We’ll have a play very well and have all the luck to get anything out of this IMO.
  11. You can find the name ‘Ian’ in ‘Davenport Nice’ so it all fits
  12. Was WATR’s ultimate goal to have fan representation on the Board? A noble endeavour but I’d imagine a fairly thankless task with our absentee owners and yes men administrators at Ewood. I’m not a member so my opinion probs doesn’t merit much worth, but WATR strike me as an organisation for a different time, like any time pre-2010. The club is dying on its arse, the owners needed to be booted out, yet WATR seem to think they can influence change and turn Venkys into better owners. It just seems tragically naive. The owners don’t care about the fans, the club, WATR, our heritage or our future. That much is obvious. BRFC are just numbers on a balance sheet to them. I’m looking forward to a ‘WATR says Venkys Out’ t-shirt in a nod to the ‘Frankie Says Relax’ t-shirts of the 80s.
  13. I’ve slagged off Hedges and Dolan quite a bit so I can’t really say otherwise, but it’s their final ball and decision making that I feel lets them down. They do both contribute a lot in other ways.
  14. He’s been excellent recently and fully deserved al the praise he’s been getting. Last night though I thought he was poor. I’m no great lover of Dolan but I think he did ok last night. When he went off we got worse. Same against PNE iirc
  15. I find it interesting that Gueye is being lauded. I thought he was poor last night. He always seemed to be nowhere near the ball and when he was he invariably lost out in an aerial duel. At least Dolan was involved.
  16. But not in the post I responded to. You’re clearly just arguing with yourself at this point so I’ll leave you to it.
  17. He literally was in the one game he played
  18. In LT Eustace has called out the defending and Pears for their 2nd goal.
  19. Good post. In the cold light of day we did okay. Like you say, it was fine margins, just like the PNE game. Unfortunately we didn’t get the handball decision. Eustace is massively overachieving, that’s the reality. He just doesn’t have the quality and depth of squad that most other teams in the league have.
  20. He can only work with what’s he’s given. It’s not his fault if some of the players are sub-standard.
  21. It’s Kargbo OsloRover 3/10😉
  22. Don’t talk daft. It’s on Venkys. Just as it was on Venkys when we imploded under JDT. The weakness of the squad has been found out again.
  23. The next 11 games will determine if we get in the play offs, not the 11 just gone.
  24. The positive was Kargbo is rapid.
