Tronstad carries the team. He leads his men into battle, just like Travis. Cantwell is more your flamboyant swordsman, dancing around the edges of the battle, occasionally slicing through an opponent with a flash of brilliance.

You could say that for most attacking players in the Championship. The key difference is that he’ll have more quality on his good days than other similar players. The other difference is that the other attackers around him in the team are L1 standard for most of the season. Apart from the occasional good game by Dolan and the occasional goal by Ohashi there’s not much else for him to play off. ACD hasn’t really played enough at this point to judge either way.

I’m concerned that Gestede is the recruitment lead if Gueye is anything to go by.

Travis and Pickering are both big misses for us, but I still think we can go to Leeds and shut up shop. I’ll go for a 0-0.

The club needs to build for the future as well as dealing with the present. If an opportunity arises to sign a quality young player then they should jump at the chance every single time.

I stated facts, how am I ‘wide of the mark’? I didn’t extrapolate any deep meaning from those results. Good runs, bad runs. We’ll see what January brings in the transfer market. It will make the difference between maintaining a play off push and mid table. I’m surprised anyone is able to say anything else with any certainty.

Usual overreaction. It’s the Championship, and for most teams that means good runs then bad runs….rinse and repeat. And lest we not forget, there’s been mimimal investment in that squad for nearly 2 seasons. Hull’s transfer spend and wage budget will both be higher than ours. On investment alone our team should be botttom 6, not top 6. We need attackers, and good ones. FOV In Eustace we trust!
