Pickering is underrated as a defender. Not many goals come from his side of the pitch when he’s playing. He’s a good one-on-one defender and doesn’t make many costly mistakes. What lets him down is his lack of pace. Compare with JRC and Brittain who are prone to individual errors that lead to goals conceded. Neither of those players are good defenders. Brittain is good going forward and has a good cross on him. JRCs best games imo came in CM under JDT.

City are a really dull team to watch. Grealish used to be a really good player to watch at Villa. Pep’s coached the joy of playing football out of him.

To be fair, he’s been shit for most of the season. Today he played really well first half. His better games seem to come when he’s on his natural side of the pitch.

Very harsh on Ohashi, he had a very good game, especially first half. Hedges was also good first half but returned to factory settings 2nd half, but he gets through an awful lot of work for team.

It was the Travis that first burst on the scene. He seems to have a manager who now gets the best out of him.

Probably best to hide your relegation thread for a while. It was always a bit premature in November.

Yeah, we’ve been excellent the last 2 games, passing the ball quicker and getting up the pitch. We have a slow team so unless we pass the ball quickly we struggle. Last two games we’ve been really crisp with our passing. We’ve looked really good at times. Our first goal today was exceptional.

They have some really good attacking players out wide and in attacking midfield. Big strong and quick. We did well to contain them.
