  3. Cheers will listen to this at work tomorrow
  4. I'd rather quit football altogether than support another team. Born here, Live here, work here it's all I know. Just don't think I could cheer a goal for another club would be very strange
  5. I know that's how I felt. I know football peak and troughs but ours has trenched. Strange being on the other side of the fun. Not pleasant at all.
  6. Managed to walk around the CBS on Saturday there's so much going on loads of new additions to bring the fans in, yes they are doing well on the pitch but looks like they have a superb home there. The club shop is a decent size with some smart gear on offer, the prematch build up is brilliant, they've found their calling with their new pregame song, and a flag that dwarfs ours, their screen/scoreboard is massive and plays previous games and player intros, really builds the hype and gets everyone going. I love wild Rover and have enjoyed our jumobtron but I think its all getting dated. VENKYSOUT we need a refresh
  7. 1904 Rovers v Villa Mitchell and Kenyon collection
  8. Wouldn't go that far. Perhaps pub scout at the Brown Cow
  9. Some incredibly moving lines in that song. It's strange because in my head I'm watching the game sat in the stands ...but it black and white. The old boys playing their hearts out...grainy images of moustached gentlemen heading a ball, thousands of people crammed in waving their hats... then the pitch is empty. The stands are empty. Right back to work. Possibly the worst week in a while for a Rovers fan
  10. Whys there a lump in my throat 😥 Those words hotdogs n beer resonate with me. me stood with a pint and my daughter eating a hotdog watching a club disintegrate. Before our eyes, feeling ripped off. Pissed off and out of pocket
  11. One end of the pitch was the start of an incline so ever so slightly went up at one goal mouth
  12. Can people start printing these perhaps 10 or 20 per person? To hand out?
  13. This ought to be on a banner Derby day or something we can all hold up
  14. Also fascinating, see Key: O memory stone of Nancy Hasler, amongst her best clients were footballers. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/5864730.memory-nancy-set-stone/
  15. Fascinating map BTW good find. Love stuff like this
  16. From the Key: E Rover Street. Link to the name perhaps?
  17. Sadly feel like the Derby game is our best platform. Stay on concourse til 18mins and leave the stands at 75th minute
  18. I'd go with same formation unless injuries occur. Scoreline 8-0. Southampton. I'll be watching via phone notification
  19. Not gonna happen have ypu sat up in jack walker barely anyone up there chants. There's a cluster of us that try and it quickly diminishes.
  20. @glen9mullani know you don't have all the answers mate but can we forget an alliance with sheff Wednesday?
