Rudy Gestede is appearing on Sam Allardyce's podcast this week, no doubt to go all out on the charm offensive for these arseholes who own and run our club. I can't understand how/why he is getting on podcasts. He had an average at best playing career and has done a diploma and a bit of work experience in football club management. What knowledge and eye-opening experience does he have to impart on the masses? Imo, none.

I agree I grew up in this area, family still live there and it's approx 75% Rovers, and that's not with blue tinted specs.

Definitely need to give a few young prospects some experience at this point. Considering the shower of idiots running the club, we don't know how much we'll rely on the young players next year, so every minute of experience they can get in our remaining dead rubber matches will count. Been out all day and just caught up with this. It's all very exciting but I just worry and think everyone needs to be extremely careful. From a legal point of view and also from a credibility point of view. If this stuff is genuine, then that's brilliant that it's in the public sphere and the club will hopefully be panicking. If some bits of this are not quite right, but go viral and the club can easily prove they're not, it helps them derail genuine protest and discontent: "can't take these guys seriously, they believed/stated X" Worst case scenario is that there is deliberate leaks and misinfo, or that it is someone on a massive-windup. All using bits which are just about believable. Let's see. 🤞

Just listening to TalkSport 2 where they are doing the build-up to our game. It's clear, as you would expect, that they only really have half a story about Rovers and as a result they don't really get the issues and what is going on. One very bizarre assertion from Micky Gray is that he is adamant 'people' are talking about Wayne Rooney coming to Ewood Park in the summer. I promise I didn't make any of that up, go back and listen. Where would something bonkers like that have come from? And in whose interest would it be to leak rubbish like that? They've just gone to an ad-break promising to get into our "off the field issues" next... 😂

Maybe next season, to celebrate how pleased we are with 15 years of Venkys, we should find a way to let them now how pleased we are every home game in the 15th minute. Whether that's a turning away from the pitch, going in the concourse, singing a specific song, I don't know. Shouldn't be something illegal obviously but wonder what options there are. Don't know myself, just thinking out loud.

Way before my time so I can't say a lot, but it looks like 4 defeats in the opening 10 league matches. If it goes badly tomorrow will be 5 defeats in opening 6 matches for La Roi Valerien 👎

Ribeiro has signed 👍 I think he has been okay. Better than Pickering but due to age lacks the potential of Beck. See him more as a full-back than a wing-back but at least we have a body guaranteed for next season.
